Mail Stop. The County shall provide a mailbox for the Association at the County Mail Center. The mail stop number assigned to the Association is O854. This mailbox shall be used only for mail:
1. Addressed to the Association or from an officer or member of County management, the Board of Supervisors, or Civil Service Commission, or
2. Addressed to an officer of member of County management, the Board of Supervisors or Civil Service Commission from the Association, and
3. Which shall relate to the business with and of the County. The Association shall not use the County mail service to correspond with a non-member, member, or Association representative. If the Association receives correspondence via County mail service from such a source, the Association shall inform the source that the County mail service cannot be used for such correspondence. With respect to U.S. Mail addressed to employees and delivered to a County mailing address, the County will make all reasonable efforts to assure the employees receive such mail. Should a Court rule or legislation be enacted that permits the use of the County mail system for employees to communicate with the Association, then such use shall be permitted.

3. which relates to the business with and of the County. The Association shall not use the County mail service to correspond with a non- member, member, or Association representative. If the Association receives correspondence via County mail service from such a source, the Association shall inform the source that the County mail service cannot be used for such correspondence.
Mail Stop. The County shall provide a mailbox for the Service Employees International Union, Local 221 at the County Mail Center. This mailbox shall be used only for mail:
1. Addressed to the Union, from an officer or member of County management, the Board of Supervisors, or Civil Service Commission, or
2. Addressed to an officer or member of County management, the Board of Supervisors or Civil Service Commission from the Union, and
3. Which relates to the business with and of the County. The Union shall not use the County mail service to correspond with a non-member, member, or Union representative. If the Union receives correspondence via County mail service from such a source, the Union shall inform the source that the County mail service cannot be used for such correspondence. For employees bargaining units AE, MM, PR, PS and SS: With respect to U.S. mail addressed to employees and delivered to a County mailing address, the County will make all reasonable efforts to ensure the employees receive such mail. For employees in bargaining units CL and FS: Communication received at County offices via U.S. mail, UPS, hand delivery, or any other means shall be delivered to addressed Union representative without reasonable delay.

3. Which relates to the business with and of the County. The Union shall not use the County mail service to correspond with a non-member, member, or Union representative. Should a court rule or legislation be enacted that permits the use of County mail for bargaining unit members to communicate with the Union, then such use shall be permitted. Communications received at County offices via U.S. mail, UPS, hand delivery, or any other means shall be delivered to addressed Union representative without reasonable delay. The mail stop number assigned to the Union is O850. Section 8. New Employees
1. The Health & Human Services Agency Personnel Office shall, on a monthly basis, provide the Union with a report of the names and other information covering new employees in this representation unit so that the Union representatives may contact the employees to inform them about the Union and this Agreement.
2. The Agency shall, during new employee formal orientation, provide notice to and permit a Union representative to make a presentation at this orientation during the lunch break to all interested new employees covered by this Agreement informing them about the Union and this Agreement. Local 221 shall be the only Union to have access to new bargaining unit employees on County premises during this orientation.
3. Each party shall bear the per unit cost of printing copies of MOAs for distribution by the respective party to management and employees.
