MANHOLE CLEANING. Both the upstream and downstream manholes are to be cleaned as a respective sewer segment is cleaned. The high-pressure hand gun system shall be used to clean all components of a manhole including the frame, rim, corbels, walls, troughs and inverts. No payment for work performed shall be made until the manholes at both ends of the sewer segment are satisfactorily cleaned. While the new year brings hope for the leveling and eventual decrease in costs for key raw materials such as resin and felt, we continue to face significant headwinds. Insituform and its parent company, Aegion, have been in constant communication with all suppliers over the past twenty-five months to keep our material costs as low as possible and forecast price changes as accurately and as far in advance as possible. However, we have not been able to prevent significant increases during this time of unprecedented disruptions to the supply chain amidst a global pandemic. These increases are especially challenging for larger projects where the time between bid and installation can be several months or even over several years in some cases. Our pricing is updated from our suppliers on a quarterly basis, and we are not able to lock pricing in advance or take early possession of these very large quantities of resin. Storage of large quantities of resin has never been practical and does not exist at any point in the resin supply chain across all industries that utilize it.   • WINDOW CLEANING Tenant shall not clean, nor require, permit, suffer or allow any window in the Premises to be cleaned from the outside in violation of Section 202 of the Labor Law, or any other Requirement, or of the rules of the Board of Standards and Appeals, or of any other board or body having or asserting jurisdiction.

  • Equipment Cleaning (a) Areas, known by Forest Service prior to timber sale advertisement, that are infested with invasive species of concern are shown on Sale Area Map. A current list of invasive species of concern and a map showing the extent of known infestations is available at the Forest Supervisor’s Office. For purposes of this provision, “Off-Road Equipment” includes all logging and construction machinery, except for log trucks, chip vans, service vehicles, water trucks, pickup trucks, cars, and similar vehicles.

  • Drainage Systems (1) Clear culvert inlets, outlets, and sediment catching basins. (2) Maintain waterbars, drainage dips, and other water diversion measures. (3) During active use, patrol and maintain functional drainage. (4) Repair damaged culvert ends.

  • Cleaning 8.1 CONTRACTOR shall, at his own expenses, at all times keep the premises free from accumulation of debris, waste materials, and rubbish, and at the completion of the work, he shall remove his tools and equipment and all surplus materials, debris, waste material, and rubbish and shall leave the premises in a neat and clean condition. If CONTRACTOR does not attend to such cleaning immediately upon request, OWNER shall have the right to have this work done by others and deduct the cost therefore from the payment due CONTRACTOR hereunder.

  • ADJACENT EXCAVATION-SHORING If an excavation shall be made upon land adjacent to the demised premises, or shall be authorized to be made, Tenant shall afford to the person causing or authorized to cause such excavation, license to enter upon the demised premises for the purpose of doing such work as said person shall deem necessary to preserve the wall or the building of which demised premises form a part from injury or damage and to support the same by proper foundations without any claim for damages or indemnity against Owner, or diminution or abatement of rent.
