Maximum Accumulation of Compensatory Time. Employees may accumulate up to one hundred (100) hours of compensatory time. Time off for compensatory time must be approved by the Department Head or his/her designee. In the event of a separation from service, the employee shall be entitled to a cash payment of all his/her accumulated compensatory time, regardless of cause or reason.

Maximum Accumulation of Compensatory Time. The maximum conversion of work hours into compensatory leave by an employee may not exceed two hundred hours of compensatory leave in any given calendar year. An employee is encouraged to use all compensatory leave credits within the calendar year in which it is earned or receive payment at the end of the calendar year at the employee’s then current rate of pay. An employee may “carry” up to one-hundred and sixty hours into the next calendar year.

All overtime shall be paid in cash at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) the officer’s regular rate of pay except when the officer has chosen compensatory time. In the cases, the officer may elect to receive compensatory in lieu of overtime payments subject to the forty (40)eighty (80) hour maximum accrual. Officers may elect to receive holiday pay in the form of compensatory time on an hour basis subject to the maximum.
Maximum Accumulation of Compensatory Time. An employee in the Highway Department and Park Department may not convert more than fifty-three hours of overtime into compensatory leave time in any given calendar year (equaling seventy-nine and one-half hours of compensatory time). An employee must use all compensatory leave credits within the calendar year in which it is earned or receive payment at the end of the calendar year at the employee’s then current rate of pay.

  • Automatic Renewal Limitation for TIPS Sales No TIPS Sale may incorporate an automatic renewal clause that exceeds month to month terms with which the TIPS Member must comply. All renewal terms incorporated into a TIPS Sale Supplemental Agreement shall only be valid and enforceable when Vendor received written confirmation of acceptance of the renewal term from the TIPS Member for the specific renewal term. The purpose of this clause is to avoid a TIPS Member inadvertently renewing an Agreement during a period in which the governing body of the TIPS Member has not properly appropriated and budgeted the funds to satisfy the Agreement renewal. Any TIPS Sale Supplemental Agreement containing an “Automatic Renewal” clause that conflicts with these terms is rendered void and unenforceable.

  • Compensatory Time Off a. An employee in the bargaining unit shall have the option to elect to take compensatory time off in lieu of cash compensation for overtime work. Compensatory time off shall be granted at the appropriate rate of overtime in accordance with Section 6 of this Article (Overtime).
