Mechanic Tools. If tools provided by the Mechanics are lost due to fire or verified burglary, then the City shall replace said tools. The Police Department would provide verification of burglary, after review of appropriate evidence. Each Mechanic shall be reimbursed for the purchase of tools up to an annual budget limit. Effective January 1, 2009, the annual budget limit for the purchase of tools shall be one thousand dollars ($1,000.00). At the earliest possible time after purchase, the employee shall claim reimbursement for approved tools by submitting an itemized receipt. The department head shall expeditiously authorize such reimbursement for approved tools. Approved tools shall be of a high quality, bearing a brand name that is recognized throughout the industry and approved by the department head (e.g., Sears-Craftsman, Proto, Snap -On).

Mechanic Tools. Upon submission of receipts and with prior Team Leader approval, each mechanic shall be reimbursed for replacement and/or breakage of personal tools to a maximum of Two Hundred ($200.00) in any one year.
Mechanic Tools. The Mechanic will be responsible for all personal tools. The District will reimburse or replace (with equal quality tool) the Mechanic’s lost or damaged tools. The Mechanic, at his discretion, may lock his tool chest after hours. The District will purchase requested specialty tools with the approval of the Public Works Superintendent. Specialty tools purchased by the District will remain the property of the District.

Completing the inventory shall be at the employees own expense.

Additionally, in order to receive the benefits of this article, when tool(s) with a lifetime warranty are available, then an employee must purchase and use tools that have a lifetime free replacement warranty and use the warranty to replace tools. In the event that the tool is not covered by the lifetime warranty, the Employer shall repair or replace a tool that is damaged or worn to the extent they are no longer usable. The Municipality shall replace brand for brand when practicable, all employee furnished tools including toolboxes that are damaged, stolen or lost in the course of their duties with the exception of those tools not required for the position or are not commonly required of the trade. Damaged equipment becomes the property of the Municipality.
Mechanic Tools. A condition of employment, the Mechanic II shall supply his own hand tools. The Employer agrees to provide the necessary tools for changing tires, including impact wrenches. Tools damaged or lost while in use for the District of Xxxxxxx shall be replaced by the Employer with tools of equal value. Tools lost through theft from the Employer's premises or vehicles shall also be replaced by the Employer.
Mechanic Tools. The Town shall supply all the necessary specialty tools for the Mechanic to perform the job.

In an emergency affecting life and safety of life or of Work or of adjoining property, Contractor, without special instruction or authorization from District, is permitted to act at his discretion to prevent such threatened loss or injury.

  • Computer Equipment No computers and/or personal electronic devices, such as tablets and laptop computers, or any component thereof, may be purchased with funds provided under this Contract, regardless of purchase price, without prior written approval of ADMINISTRATOR.   • Server Software Subject to the terms and conditions of this XXXX, Vocera grants you the non-exclusive right to (i) install and run (“Use”) the Server Software on computer systems (each, a “Server Computer”) located at End User’s Facilities in the geographic territory designated above (“Territory”); (ii) to Use the Client Software in conjunction with Authorized Client Devices and such Server Computers; and (iii) for pilot licenses for certain Software provided on a trial basis, use such Software for the limited term specified by Vocera in writing. You may Use the standard Server Software on one primary Server Computer (or a primary cluster of computers suitably configured for productive use of the Server Software). You may install backup copies of the Server Software on backup Server Computers to provide redundancy in the event of failure of the primary Server Computer(s) but, unless you have acquired additional licenses or a failover license from Vocera, you may not run such backup or additional copies concurrently with the primary copies. Vocera grants you the right to use the applicable License Key issued by Vocera only to enable Use of the Server Software in conjunction with the licensed Server Computers. Server Software may be licensed for a Subscription Term as specified in the Quote.

  • Stored equipment We accept no responsibility for any stored equipment or other property brought on to or left at the premises, and all liability for loss or damage is hereby excluded. All equipment and other property (other than stored equipment) must be removed at the end of each hiring or we will charge fees each day or part of a day at the hire fee per hiring until the same is removed. We may, in our discretion, dispose of any items referred to below by sale or otherwise on such terms and conditions as we think fit, and charge you any costs we incur in storing and selling or otherwise disposing of the same, in any of the following circumstances: (i) your failure either to pay any charges in respect of stored equipment due and payable or to remove the same within seven days after the agreed storage period has ended (ii) your failure to dispose of any property brought on to the premises for the purposes of the hiring.

  • UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT Section 1. Sworn employees of the Sheriff’s Office who are assigned to positions requiring a uniform shall receive Agency-provided uniforms and accessories in accordance with Agency policy at no cost to the employee. Uniforms worn out through normal use shall be replaced by the Sheriff’s Office as determined and approved by the supply staff. Section 2. Employees shall be permitted to purchase additional approved uniform pieces, excluding badges, from the Purchasing and Materials Division, provided sufficient quantities are on hand to cover the normal, required provision of uniforms to employees as per Section 1 above. Employees must pay for these items at the time of purchase or order. Section 3. Employees assigned to uniformed positions shall be eligible to receive a uniform maintenance allowance in the amount of $150 per year provided the employee spent at least 182 days of the calendar year in a uniform assignment. This allowance will be paid to all eligible employees in the last paycheck of the calendar year each December during the term of this Agreement. Section 4. The Sheriff’s Office shall issue body armor to employees and replace same in accordance with General Order 5-1. Section 5. In the event an employee leaves the employ of the Sheriff’s Office, he shall return to the Sheriff’s Office all equipment, uniforms and accessories, including those personally purchased by the employee in accordance with Section 2 above. Section 6. Employees whose prescription eyeglasses, contact lenses, hearing aids or watches are lost, damaged, or destroyed in the line of duty, except in cases where employee negligence caused or contributed to same, will be reimbursed for repair or replacement subject to the criteria detailed below. The Sheriff’s Office shall not reimburse for any other personal property lost, damaged or destroyed in the line of duty. The maximum reimbursement for prescription eyeglasses or hearing aids is the actual cost to repair or replace the item or $150, whichever is less. The maximum reimbursement for contact lenses or watches is the actual cost to repair or replace the item or $50, whichever is less. Requests for reimbursement for the personal property shall be made in writing to the employee’s immediate supervisor during the work shift in which the article of personal property was lost, damaged or destroyed. Except in cases of loss or when an item is repairable, the item for which reimbursement is sought should be turned in along with the written request for reimbursement. To aid in establishing the amount to be reimbursed, the employee will be required to provide to the Sheriff’s Office the receipt for the repair or replacement prior to reimbursement which must be approved by the Sheriff or his designee.

  • Accessories, Spare Parts and Tools Accessories, spare parts and tools dispatched with a piece of equipment, machine, apparatus or vehicle, which are part of the normal equipment and included in the price thereof or which are not separately invoiced, shall be regarded as one with the piece of equipment, machine, apparatus or vehicle in question.
