MEDICAL TRAVEL ALLOWANCE. The parties agree to extend the existing Extended Health Benefits Plan to incorporate a medical travel allowance for necessary medical travel from remote areas when members or their dependents are referred by their attending physician to medical specialists in B.C. and such referrals require travel from the patient’s community of employment in excess of 500 km on a round trip basis.

MEDICAL TRAVEL ALLOWANCE. Effective upon ratification of the agreement an annual medical travel allowance of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per eligible Officer will be implemented.
MEDICAL TRAVEL ALLOWANCE. Transportation and accommodation costs will be paid for patients covered under the Company medical plan for any medical or dental treatments that are necessarily scheduled out of Prince Xxxxxx. Such medical or dental treatment must be taken at the nearest possible location. The Company will make travel and accommodation arrangements in order to gain corporate discounts. Expenses must be properly accounted for with original receipts.

The Medical Travel Allowance provision will be effective January The Standing Committee will work out all details of the provision prior to implementation based on the following agreed upon principles: The maximum allowance payable on behalf of any member or dependent is over the term of the agreement. Eligible expenses will include bills for regularly scheduled economy class air fares, hotel accommodation and taxi fares. Travel by private automobile will be paid for at per kilometre. All medical referrals will be in writing and travel must take place within two months of the Physician’s referral, unless the earliest possible date of availability of the Specialist is beyond two months from the referral. Entitlement to hotel expenses will be based on the reasonableness of the member or dependent being unable to return home on the day of referral.

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.

  • Fares and Travel Allowance All Employees shall be entitled to receive the fares and travel allowance as follows:

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.

  • Education Allowance Provisions in existing Collective Agreements providing for educational allowances shall be continued in effect.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance Employees required to work more than two (2) hours overtime consecutive with a shift shall be provided with a meal by the Employer.

  • Tool Allowance (a) A tool allowance as set in the relevant Wage Tables in Appendix A per week shall be paid for all purposes to:- (i) Electrical workers at Grade EW 5 and beyond; (ii) Electrical workers performing the duties of: (A) Television Antenna Installer/Erector; (B) Television/Radio/Electronic Equipment Servicemen; and (iii) Apprentices - Contained within the relevant Apprentice Wage Rates.

  • Meal Allowances Employees assigned to be in travel status between the employee's temporary or permanent work station and a field assignment shall be reimbursed for the actual cost of meals including a reasonable gratuity.
