Meeting Schedules. Neither the District nor the principal shall schedule meetings which will conflict with the regularly scheduled monthly meeting of the Albany Teacher’s Associations Association/California Unit members Association/National Education Association.
Meeting Schedules. Prior to the conclusion of each session, the parties shall set the time, place and tentative agenda for the next negotiation session.
Meeting Schedules. 1Teachers may be required to remain after the end of the regular work day without additional compensation to attend staff meetings. The Committee and the Association recognize that the goals for student achievement of the ERA of 1993 and the system goals of the Belmont Public Schools Strategic Plan present us with significant challenges. We recognize that meeting of staff in various groupings: by building, by department, by grade level and district wide, are necessary for collaboration, professional development, curriculum development and alignment and information sharing to support the teaching and learning to which the parties are all committed. The parties further recognize that all meetings should be as efficient and productive as possible and should provide, where possible, for the accumulation of PDP’s for teachers’ recertification, consistent with the DOE requirements. In the effort to increase the productivity and efficiency of meetings, the parties support the following:
Meeting Schedules. 4.1 Meetings will be held quarterly in advance of GMWB meetings.
4.2 However, extraordinary meetings will be convened where deemed necessary.
Meeting Schedules. The committee will meet quarterly on a regular meeting date mutually agreed to by the committee, provided either party requests such a meeting. Such requests will be submitted in writing at least ten (10) working days prior to the regular meeting day and shall include a proposed agenda and the names of individuals proposed to attend the meeting. The committee may meet at such other times as is mutually agreeable.

The meetings will be conducted quarterly, and held the first Tuesday of every January, April, July, and October for the term of this Agreement, or upon mutual agreement, the meetings may be monthly. The parties will submit a written agenda listing topics to be discussed at least five (5) calendar days in advance of the scheduled meeting. An agenda submitted by either party will result in a meeting. If neither party submits an agenda, the meeting will be canceled until the next scheduled meeting.

Meeting Schedules. Two rounds of meetings are proposed: a first round to introduce the study, present initial findings, and begin a dialogue of collaboration and cooperation, and a second round to review draft recommendations and implementation plan and formalize the process of consensus building. Each round begins with the municipal partners and elected officials, then presents to the public, allowing the opportunity for municipal officials and professional staff to review and approve the materials, findings, and recommendations, before going to the public.
