Modified Shifts. All “Modified shifts” shall be eligible for night differential pay beginning at 2:00 p.m. A modified shift is defined at a shift that varies from the normally assigned shift.

Modified Shifts. It is recognized that certain crews or employees work or may be required to work hours not set out above. The below listed Modified Shifts have been agreed to by the Parties: (i) Fleet Operations Employees: Day Shift: Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.: each with a one-half hour, mid-shift, unpaid lunch break and one 15 minute nutrition break on the jobsite to be taken approximately midway between start time and lunch break. Employees assigned to Fleet Operations Centre rotate through two or more of the above shifts according to a pre-arranged schedule. Employees in Fleet Operations will be exempt from the provisions of Marginal Paragraphs 16.01(a) Day Shift 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; 16.01(b) Afternoon Shift, 3:00 p.m. to11:00 p.m. and 16.01(c) Night Shift, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (ii) Customer Service Employees: Day Shift: Monday through Friday from either 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.: in either case with a one-half hour, mid-shift, unpaid lunch break and one 15 minute nutrition break on the jobsite to be taken approximately midway between start time and lunch break. Changes from one to the other of the above hours of work shall be made in accordance with Marginal Paragraph 16.03. Employees in Customer Service will be exempt from the provisions of Marginal Paragraphs 16.01(a) Day Shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; 16.01(b) Afternoon Shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; and 16.01(c) Night Shift 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (iii) During the months of December and January, Construction, Operations and Maintenance crews may be assigned to Day Shift: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Changes to and from this modified shift shall be made in accordance with Marginal Paragraph 16.03. (iv) All Employees: Three, nine and one-half hour days followed by one nine hour day, followed by three days of rest as per Letter of Understanding #9.

  • Minimum Break between Shifts (a) Where it is necessary to work extended overtime, it is agreed that no Employee shall resume or continue to work without having had ten consecutive hours off duty between the termination of the overtime and the commencement of the Employee’s ordinary work on the next day or shift. (b) In the event that an Employee agrees to a request from site management to resume or continue to work without having had ten consecutive hours off duty, the Employee shall be paid at double ordinary time rates until the Employee is released from duty for such period.

  • Hour Shifts When the Employer deems it necessary to implement a twelve (12) hour work day, affected employees shall be notified pursuant to Clause 14.05. The following Clauses shall be replaced or added to the Collective Agreement where appropriate.

  • Minimum Fixed Charge Coverage Ratio As of the end of each Fiscal Quarter, commencing with the Fiscal Quarter ending on March 31, 2015, Borrowers will maintain a Fixed Charge Coverage Ratio of not less than 1.20 to 1.00.

  • Fixed Charges Coverage Ratio The Company will not permit the Consolidated Fixed Charge Coverage Ratio to be less than 2.00 to 1.00.

  • Fixed Charge Ratio Maintain a Fixed Charge Ratio as determined as of each Calculation Date of not less than 1.50: 1. The Fixed Charge Ratio covenant shall be tested by the Administrative Agent as of each Calculation Date with results based upon the results for the most recent Calculation Period, such calculation and results to be verified by the Administrative Agent.

  • Shifts In the Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, the Agency may schedule nursing personnel on a rotational shift basis for a temporary period during the opening of new facilities. The Agency shall not schedule any employee to rotate more than two (2) different shifts in any four (4) week scheduling period. Exceptions may be mutually agreed to by the parties. In the other Agencies, shifts shall not be rotated unless mutually agreed to by the parties.

  • Variation of period of parental leave Unless agreed otherwise between the employer and employee, an employee may apply to their employer to change the period of parental leave on one occasion. Any such change to be notified at least four weeks prior to the commencement of the changed arrangements.

  • Extended Tours/Hybrid Schedules The Employer and the Union may agree to implement extended tours or hybrid schedule (mix of extended and normal tours). For clarity, a hybrid schedule may include extended tours on weekends and normal tours during the week. The following will apply: (a) Each facility/unit must have sixty-six and two thirds percent (66⅔%) agreement of the full-time and part-time employees who work in the facility/ unit. Each Home must have the majority agreement of the full-time and part- time employees who vote on the issue to agree on a trial period of up to six months. Once the trial period is complete, each Home must have a minimum of 66⅔% agreement of the full-time and part-time employees who vote on the issue to continue with the new schedule on a permanent basis. (b) The Extended Tour/Hybrid Schedule may be cancelled by either party on giving ten (10) calendar weeks’ notice to the other in writing of its desire to terminate. A meeting shall be held within two (2) weeks of receipt of such notice to discuss the reasons for the cancellation. Extended tours may be discontinued by the Union in any facility/unit when sixty percent (60%) of the full-time and part-time employees in the facility/unit so indicate by secret ballot to the Union. (c) With the exception of the specific variations set forth in this Article, all other conditions and terms of the Collective Agreement and Appendices shall remain in full force and effect.

  • Fixed Charge Coverage Ratio The Borrower will not permit the Fixed Charge Coverage Ratio, as of the last day of any fiscal quarter for the four fiscal quarters ending on that date, to be less than 1.25 to 1.0.

  • Split Shifts No shift shall be split for a period longer than the regularly scheduled meal and rest periods as provided for in Article 14.08.
