HOURS OF WORK 16. 1 16.2 The work week shall consist of five (5) consecutive days between Monday and Saturday inclusive. 16.3 The normal daily hours of work for each employee shall be seven (7) consecutive hours exclusive of meal breaks.

HOURS OF WORK 16. 01 (a) Day Shift: Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a one-half hour, mid-shift, unpaid lunch break and one 15 minute nutrition break on the jobsite to be taken approximately midway between start time and lunch break. (b) Afternoon Shift: Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. with a one-half hour, mid-shift, unpaid lunch break and one 15 minute nutrition break on the jobsite to be taken approximately midway between start time and lunch break. (c) Night Shift: Monday through Friday from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. with a one-half hour, mid-shift, unpaid lunch break and one 15 minute nutrition break on the jobsite to be taken approximately midway between start time and lunch break. (d) Continuous Operations with shift commencement times as defined above. Employees shall work eight hours and shall bank one-half hour per shift to be taken as unpaid time off so as to average 37 ½ hours of work per week over a 12 week cycle. The System Control Centre continuous operations work schedule is attached in Appendix A - Letter of Understanding #6. The determination of shift assignments shall be proposed by the employees affected and approved by their supervisor.
