Necessary Qualifications. Contractor certifies that it will furnish to Whitestown, if requested, any and all documentation, certification, authorization, license, permit, or registration required by the laws or rules and regulations of Whitestown, other units of local government, the State of Indiana, and the United States. Contractor further certifies that it is now and will remain in good standing with such governmental agencies and that it is now and will maintain all licenses, permits, registrations, authorizations, or certifications, as applicable to the services in force during the term of this Agreement.
Necessary Qualifications. It will be the Board option to provide additional training for existing employees in their present job classification when it is recognized the employee does not possess the necessary qualifications required. It will be the employee’s responsibility to possess or obtain the necessary educational and/or training to meet the necessary qualification for other classification being bid on. This Section will not serve as a bar to benefits under Section 21.15. A Study Group to consider instituting an eligibility roster will be formed with three (3) representatives from the United Steelworkers and three (3) representatives from the Administration. In the event that an employee fails to pass a governmentally mandated test or fails to satisfy a governmentally mandated qualification necessary to hold any classification covered by this agreement, that employee shall be laid off and may exercise his/her seniority to bid on future vacant positions. Such employee shall not be entitled to exercise their seniority to bump.
Necessary Qualifications a. Necessary Qualifications in respect to a teaching position means a reasonable expectation based on the teaching certification, training, education, and experience of the teacher that that teacher will be able to perform the duties of the position in an acceptable manner.
b. Necessary Qualifications are, in the final analysis, determined by the Superintendent of Schools and subject to the grievance procedure.
Necessary Qualifications. Necessary qualifications" in respect to a teaching position means:
a. Possession of a valid teaching certificate for the province of British Columbia, and
b. A reasonable expectation by the Superintendent of schools, based on the teacher's university education or equivalent training and classroom experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties of the position from the commencement date of the assignment and,
c. Where the Superintendent deems it appropriate, a written commitment by the teacher to undertake a Pro-D program related to the position to achieve a more fully qualified status relative to the new assignment within two (2) years of accepting the position.
d. For an adult education teacher or prospective adult education teacher possessing the necessary qualifications, a B.C. Teaching Certificate will not be considered a condition of employment for all courses.
e. For an adult education teacher or prospective adult education teacher, the evaluator’s reasonable expectation will apply in Article A.20.5.b.
Necessary Qualifications a. The term necessary qualifications is defined as the reasonable expectation that the teacher will be able to deliver the service of the position satisfactorily considering their certification, training and/or educational experience.
b. Should a teacher, who is to be laid off at the end of a school year for lack of necessary qualifications, successfully complete a university summer session, or other appropriate training or experience, then such teacher shall be deemed to have the necessary qualifications, always subject to successful completion of the appropriate course.
c. The Superintendent of Schools shall decide, consistent with (a) and (b) of this section, whether or not a teacher possesses the necessary qualifications for a particular position.
d. Should the teacher or the Association challenge the Superintendent's decision as to whether the teacher does or does not have the necessary qualifications, that question shall be referred to the Grievance Procedure.
Necessary Qualifications. The necessary qualifications for 10.11.08 performing the job.
Necessary Qualifications. The layoff procedure is contingent upon remaining employees in the affected classification being minimally qualified or licensed (if required by code) to perform the work remaining. A person working in a classification shall be deemed minimally qualified in that classification for purposes of this provision only. In no case shall an employee be able to bump into another classification if he/she has never had seniority in that classification.

En ce qui concerne les qualifications de compétence en français requises pour un poste, les termes « qualifications nécessaires » veulent dire une maîtrise générale, courante et démontrable du français écrit et parlé.
Necessary Qualifications. In this Agreement "necessary qualifications" in respect of a position means a reasonable expectation, based on the teaching certificate, training, education, skills, abilities, professional development and overall experience of the teacher that the teacher will be able to perform the duties of the position in a satisfactory manner after a reasonable period of familiarization, which may be before or after the commencement date of the assignment or both before and after. In respect of the French language competence qualifications of a position, "necessary qualifications" means a present, demonstrable, general mastery of both oral and written French.
Necessary Qualifications a. Full teaching licensure;
b. At least 3+ years of teaching experience;
c. ESOL-Endorsed;
d. Demonstrated knowledge in the following areas:
i. second language acquisition theory and multilingual development;
ii. the functions and sub-systems of language;
iii. legal guidelines, processes, and procedures for EL students;
iv. EL assessment practices and procedures, including bi/multi-lingual assessments and interpreting assessments; and
v. the use of teacher evaluation frameworks, including modifying frameworks for educators of EL students;
e. Experience working within and across the WIDA framework for EL student learning, including ELD standards and assessments; and
f. Commitment to beginning pursuit of an ESOL Certification or Master’s Degree in ESOL/English as a Second Language, bilingual, or multilingual education within two years of hire.
