Night Crews. In the event the Employer wishes to implement a regular night shift, the Employer shall meet with the Union to develop a fair system of scheduling and rotation of the night crew.

Night Crews. Payment: 1. The Night crew will be implemented for jobs which have overtime and which could be for a period longer than a shift and where a job needs the same work crew for continuity purposes. 2. The first two nights worked (excluding regular days off) on the night work period will be paid at premium payment. 3. The remaining nights will be paid at straight time for the first eight (8) hours of work and applicable overtime rates for work beyond eight (8) hours 4. Premium payment for night crews will not be recognized as overtime payment. 5. Night Crew coverage will be any hours other than regular day hours. Selection: 1. Selections will be made from the most current daily overtime list. Each employee in turn will have the option to choose the period the employee wishes to work, or decline. This procedure continues until there are no options left; since there may be overtime involved, each employee may exercise their option except that the employee may be obligated to work overtime as outlined in 10.07(i). 2. If the employee declines to work either option the employee will be charged with the greater of the overtime charges. The employee will still be eligible to work other overtime during the night crew period; the employee will not be charged for any of this overtime if the employee declines; however, if the employee works, the employee will be charged for the overtime work in addition to the overtime charges the employee incurred for declining the night crew. 3. Any regular hours lost during the night crew assignment may be made up at straight time payment at a mutually agreed upon time. 4. The Company will estimate the duration of any particular job prior to the start of the assignment and will communicate this information to the workforce prior staffing and assignment.

Priority Turnarounds are those turnarounds that are given priority over other turnarounds by mutual agreement between the Company and the Union.   • Flight Crew (a) Lessor shall employ or engage and pay all salaries, benefits and and/or compensation for a fully-qualified flight crew with appropriate credentials to conduct each flight undertaken under this Agreement. Lessor may use temporary flight crewmembers for a flight under this Agreement only if any such temporary crewmember is FlightSafety (or SimuFlite) trained, is current on the Aircraft and satisfies all of the requirements and conditions under the insurance coverage for the Aircraft. All flight crewmembers shall be included on any insurance policies that Lessor is required to maintain hereunder. (b) The qualified flight crew provided by Lessor shall exercise all of its duties and responsibilities with regard to the safety of each flight conducted hereunder in accordance with applicable FAR’s. The Aircraft shall be operated under the standards and policies established by Lessor. Final authority to initiate or terminate each flight, and otherwise to decide all matters relating to the safety of any given flight or requested flight, shall rest with the pilot-in-command of that flight. The flight crew may, in its sole discretion, terminate any flight, refuse to commence any flight, or take any other action that, in the judgment of the pilot-in-command, is necessitated by considerations of safety. No such termination or refusal to commence by the pilot-in-command shall create or support any liability for loss, injury, damage or delay in favor of Lessee or any other person. Lessor shall not be liable to Lessee or any other person for loss, injury or damage occasioned by the delay or failure to furnish the Aircraft and flight crew pursuant to this Agreement for any reason.

  • Night Duty Employees who, as part of their regularly scheduled work shift, are required to work any hours between 4:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. shall receive a premium of eight and one-half percent (8.5%) per hour in addition to their straight time hourly base rate of pay for any and all hours worked between 4:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.

  • Night Shift Employees who are required to work at least five-eighths of their normal daily tour of duty after 4:30 p.m. and before 8:00 a.m. shall be paid at the rate of five percent over and above his/her normal biweekly or hourly rate of pay for the entire shift so worked.

  • Shiftwork (A) Where the Employee would have received shift loadings had the Employee not been on leave during the relevant period and such loadings would have entitled the Employee to a greater amount than a loading of 17.5% of the payment under clause 23.1(c), then the shift loadings must be added to the payment under clause 23.1(c)(i) instead of the 17.5% loading. (B) Provided further that if the shift allowance would have entitled the Employee to a lesser amount than the loading of 17.5% then such loading of 17.5% shall be used for the purpose of calculating annual leave loading in lieu of the shift allowance.

  • B5 Contractor’s Staff The Authority may, by written notice to the Contractor, refuse to admit onto, or withdraw permission to remain on, the Authority’s Premises:

  • Compressed Work Week The Company and Union recognize the concept of the compressed work week. It is further understood that the compressed work week conditions will apply only to those departments that are on the compressed work week.

  • Night Work Employees who work at night as part of their normal working week are entitled to receive an enhancement of time and one third for all hours worked between 8.00 pm and 6.00 am.

  • Flextime ‌ (a) For the purpose of this agreement, flextime means the hours worked by an employee, or group of employees, who are given authority by the Employer to: (1) choose their starting and finishing times; and (2) choose their length of workday within a stated maximum number of hours, subject to meeting the required annual hours of work in accordance with this agreement, through a specified averaging period. (b) The full-time employee on flextime who has a day of absence, whether with or without pay, will be deemed to be absent for the agreed upon hours, providing at least the agreed upon hours are required to complete the averaging period. If less than the agreed upon hours are required to complete the averaging period, such number of hours will be deemed to be the hours of absence. (c) The averaging period for employees on flextime will be two pay periods. (d) The workday for those employees on flextime will not exceed 10 hours.

  • Television Equipment Recycling Program If this Contract is for the purchase or lease of covered television equipment, then Contractor certifies that it is compliance with Subchapter Z, Chapter 361 of the Texas Health and Safety Code related to the Television Equipment Recycling Program.
