Office Professionals. Office professionals shall receive a biweekly increase equal to one (1) step of their salary schedule for thirty (30) credit hours of college work accepted as being work-related. Fifteen (15) of these credit hours may be earned in Baltimore County approved in-service programs. Such employees shall be entitled to an additional pay increase equal to one (1) step of their salary for an additional thirty (30) credit hours of college work accepted as work-related. Up to fifteen (15) credit hours of Baltimore County approved in-service credit may be used to meet the requirement of the additional thirty (30) hours.

Office Professionals. This leave will not be granted the first and last five (5) workdays 32 of the school year, unless the supervisor approves. The use of these days shall be 33 mutually scheduled between the immediate administrative supervisor and the 34 employee. Advance notice is not required when an employee is prevented from 35 reporting to his/her building by a situation which is serious, unavoidable, or of major 36 importance involving potential hazard, provided that the employee informs his/her 37 supervisor as rapidly as possible of the employee's inability to report on time.
