Open Bidding. 1. A procuring entity shall award its contracts through open tendering procedures, except where Article 10.10.2 applies.
Open Bidding. It is understood that in order to ensure the efficiency of operations, Cabin Attendants on reserve will not be allowed to bid open flights as referenced in Article B8. B9.12 CSO’s will leave a message and it is the Cabin Attendant's responsibility to return the CSO's telephone calls as promptly as possible.
Open Bidding. After the annual bidding process, including the one-time bid, 11 employees may submit bids at any time for shift and furlough vacancies that may occur in the future.
Open Bidding. Bids must be on file prior to the initial position (shift/furlough) in 21 a sequence becoming vacant in order to be considered for that position or any subsequent opening, 22 which may occur as a result of that vacancy. For the purpose of this Section, the date of the initial 23 position becoming vacant means the date a resignation letter or a termination form is received and 24 date/time stamped by DAJD Juvenile Detention Division; at the time a new job offer is accepted on a 25 promotion; at the time a transfer request is approved; or at the time the termination/demotion of an 26 employee is formalized in writing by the Juvenile Detention Division Manager or designee.
Open Bidding. After the annual bidding process employees may submit requests 21 at any time for temporary or permanent shift and furlough vacancies that may occur in the future. Once bids are on file they remain on file until the next Annual bid, unless canceled by the employee. Should the Division determine that a vacant shift and furlough must be filled prior to the next annual 24 bid, it will first attempt to fill the vacancy based on the open bid documentation and seniority, provided that: 26
