Operator Uniforms. 3 x shirts per year 2 x pants per year 1 x tie per year New Drivers shall be issued an additional two (2) shirts on a one (1) time basis only. Replacement uniforms shall be provided to each active employee on the anniversary of their date of last hire or, if the employee fails to obtain this replacement uniform on time, the new replacement date will be the anniversary of the date on which the employee last received his / her replacement uniform. Winter parkas and spring jackets will be considered for replacement after the time period noted above. The above is subject to the employee having twelve months active consecutive service and replacement of a uniform or any part thereof shall be at the discretion of the Employer following inspection of the quality of the existing uniform or part thereof. If new uniform items are added to the list of mandatory items, the Employer shall provide such mandatory items. Optional pieces that have been approved by the Employer shall be paid for by the employee.

Operator Uniforms a) The Union and Management shall meet in January, prior to the commencement of the ordering of uniforms. b) The employee must be measured by a tailor for the order to be placed. Both a male and a female tailor shall be available to take measurements. Measurements on file from previous orders are not sufficient. Uniforms must be picked up within three (3) weeks of being notified. Problems with fit must be reported to Transit Management within ten (10) days after pickup. c) Fittings for uniform are to start February 15th and end on March 31st. Exceptions to these dates shall only be made for persons returning from extended periods of leave/absence.
Operator Uniforms. The employer shall furnish uniforms to all operators as follows: One (1) punch, one (1) punch case, one (1) utility cap or a six-dollar ($6.00) credit toward a captain-style hat, one (1) jacket, two (2) sweaters, five (5) shirts, five (5) pairs of pants (short or long, as requested by the employee) and eighty-five dollars ($85.00) per year shoe allowance, to be paid the first payday in July each year. If shorts are worn, designated socks must be worn by the employee when wearing shorts. Uniforms may be modified from time to time by the District, but only after it has received input from the affected staff, and the Division has been provided an opportunity to comment on same. The punch and case will be deleted from the uniform specifications at such time as the District installs same on each bus.

Operator Uniforms. The City and the Contractor shall agree upon a standard uniform. Operators shall be in uniform at all times while in service or otherwise on duty. Contractor shall provide Operator uniforms to its employees. Contractor shall be responsible to ensure that Operators wear these uniforms and maintain a neat and clean appearance while on duty.

New employees will be provided four (4) shirts and two (2) pair of pants at the time the employee is hired. Female employees shall have the option of selecting skirts in lieu of pants. The beginning of each fiscal year, on October 1st, bus operators shall be entitled to receive a uniform allowance of one hundred eighty dollars ($180.00) for the purposes of replacing and maintaining an adequate allotment of uniforms for duty. D. Employees who cannot be fitted by the Authority's uniform vendor shall be reimbursed for items purchased by the employee from another source; up to the dollar amount the Authority would pay its regular vendor not to exceed the annual uniform allowance allotment. Such purchases must be approved by the Chief Operating Officer, Director of Transportation or director’s designee prior to reimbursement.

  • Network Interconnection Architecture Each Party will plan, design, construct and maintain the facilities within their respective systems as are necessary and proper for the provision of traffic covered by this Agreement. The provisioning and engineering of such services and facilities will comply with generally accepted industry methods and practices, and will observe the rules and regulations of the lawfully established tariffs applicable to the services provided.

  • TOOL STORAGE 1. A company shall provide on all construction jobs in towns and cities, and elsewhere where reasonably necessary and practicable (or if requested buy the employee), a suitable and secure waterproof lock-up solely for the purpose of storing employees’ tools, and on multi-storey and major projects the company shall provide, where possible, a suitable lock-up for employees’ tools within a reasonable distance of the work area of large groups of employees. 2. Where an employee is absent from work because of illness or accident and has advised the company in accordance with Clause 33 – Personal Leave of the award, the company shall ensure that the employee’s tools are securely stored during his/her absence.
