ORCHESTRA. The KSO is obliged to provide the accompaniment by an orchestra of relevant cast according to sheet music of particular pieces and strings 8, 6, 4, 4, 3 (service sharing of musicians for first three rehearsals is allowed).

ORCHESTRA. Membership in the orchestra is open to all string players who can qualify and to other instrumentalists by invitation. The orchestra gives two concerts for the public, one in mid-winter and the other one in the spring. In addition, the orchestra plays for assemblies, plays, and commencement.
ORCHESTRA. Collectively the Musicians hired by the RPA to perform classical symphonic concerts and other events as directed by the RPA Board of Trustees.
ORCHESTRAThe Orchestra will be made up of a minimum of 42 musicians contracted for a minimum number of services and rates of pay as specified in Schedules “A” and “B”.
ORCHESTRAMembers of the Music Department participate in instrumental presentations throughout the school year. Occasions such as the Christmas and Spring Concerts, Baccalaureate, Graduation, special liturgies and assemblies are times when the Orchestra performs. Senior members of the Orchestra are required to play for Ring Mass, Baccalaureate and Graduation. Students usually join the instrumental department in their freshman year and are prepared to play with the upper-class orchestra members by the end of that year. Freshmen who have played an instrument in elementary school may be eligible, after an audition, to perform with the larger group. Since music is an elective major, the many programs presented during the course of the year are an integral part of the curriculum. The majority of these presentations are coordinated after regular school hours. Attendance at these after- school rehearsals is mandatory. Students interested in Concert Choir are required to take the Vocal Music class. This class is open to all students. Concert Choir members are required to participate in both the Christmas and Spring Concerts. Attendance at after- school rehearsals for the concerts is mandatory. Concert Choir members may also serve as the choir, cantors, or leaders of song for liturgical celebrations and special school assemblies. Senior members of the Concert Choir are required to sing for Ring Mass and Baccalaureate. Flowerettes is the advanced choral ensemble, consisting of 20 members. Membership is open to students who are serious about choral singing and committed to singing more difficult music. A vocal audition is necessary in order to gain entry into the group. Flowerettes participate in the Christmas and Spring Concerts and may perform at various functions throughout the year. Attendance is mandatory at both concerts as well as all other performances. Senior members of the Flowerettes are required to sing for Ring Mass and Baccalaureate. STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION The Student Government Association is composed of the following members: • President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer elected by the Junior Class • Student Council Representatives elected at-large by their respective classes (10 Seniors, 8 Juniors, 6 Sophomores, and 6 Freshmen) • One Homeroom Representative elected from each homeroom Students who wish to be considered for candidacy must meet the qualifications stated in the SGA Constitution which are published and posted prior to nominations an...
ORCHESTRAThe orchestra is the central programmatic component of this program. Curriculum will be designed with this in mind, and students are required to be in orchestra once they have attained the appropriate ability level. Students who are unable to participate in the orchestra on an on-going basis will not be allowed to participate in the EXPO Youth Orchestra program. Participants who began the program before the signing of this agreement who refuse to or cannot participate in the orchestra will be accommodated to ensure their ongoing participation by transferring them to other sites managed by The Harmony Project.
ORCHESTRAThe orchestra can be split into two groups of at least twenty (20) musicians each for different performances and the rehearsals attributable thereto. When a performance of one or the other of the groups is recorded for broad- cast on radio or television, the terms of the agreement between the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and the apply and, for that purpose, each group is deemed to be the entire Orchestre symphonique de Montréal. The gives the musicians at least one (1) month’s advance written notice before splitting the orchestra, telling them to which group they have been assigned. When the orchestra is split, the two groups’ rehearsals and performances can take place at times. If a split orchestra remains in effect during a winter or summer season, the assigns the same number of first chairs to each group and distributes the remaining musicians to one group or the other using a fair and equitable rotation system.
ORCHESTRA. III.1. The Orchestra will consist of the following constituent parts: a) At least twenty-nine (29) Core musicians, to be known as the Sinfonia, covering the following positions: Concert Master, Associate Concert Master 3 Section First Violins Principal Second Violin, 3 Section Second Violins Principal Xxxxx, 2 Section Violas Principal Cello, 2 Section Cellos Principal Bass Principal Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, and Bassoon Second Flute, Oboe, Clarinet and Bassoon Principal Trumpet and Horn Second Trumpet and Horn Principal Timpani b) At least seventeen (17) Part-Time musicians, contracted to augment the Core into a larger orchestra for a defined schedule of services covering the following positions: 4 Section First Violin 3 Section Second Violin 3 Section Xxxxx 2 Section Cello 2 Section Bass 3rd French Horn Principal Trombone 2nd Trombone c) All Part-Time contracted musicians must be engaged for all scheduled services (rehearsals as well as performances) associated with Ovation and Pops concerts that are produced by Orchestra London. For all of these services, occurring in London, the string section must include at least the following: 10 first violins, 8 second violins, 6 violas, 6 cellos and 4 basses. d) Extra musicians may be required from time to time. Extras will be contracted in writing when practical.
ORCHESTRAThe Centre shall engage no fewer than fifty (50) Musicians for the seasons covered by the term of this Agreement. Each season shall consist of forty-six (46) weeks. Each Musician shall receive the minimum fee set forth in Article for the season for performingthe types of services set forth in Article The Centre will appoint a Personnel Manager. The initial appointment of this person must be approved by the Local. Insofar as the Personnel Manager is performing his duties as Personnel Manager, he is a member of the ,management staff of the Centre and shall report to and take direction from the Managing Director, or his designate. The parties recognize and agree that the Managing Director has the authority and responsibility to require compliance by Musicians to the terms of this Agreement and that he may delegate such authority and responsibility to the Personnel Manager. The Centre will appoint two (2) members of the Local as Librarians, both of whom shall receive not less than the current basic fee for services not to exceed thirty-five (35) hours weekly. For time in excess of thirty-five (35) hours, they shall receive one and one half (1 times their hourly rates to be computed in half-hour segments. A Librarian must be present on ail services including tours and run-outs. Gender Whenever the masculine is used herein, it shall also be considered to refer to the feminine. Whenever there is no Music Director, the Music Director Designate shall have the right to exercise all of the rights, duties and responsibilitiesof the Music Director under this agreement, except that the Music Director Designate shall not have authority to exercise the right to terminate the services of a Musician under Article for reasons other than just cause.
