Outside Duties. When the outside temperature is below twenty (20) degrees Fahrenheit, no Special Education Assistant shall have to be outside with the students. Wind chill factors shall be considered when determining if students are to be outside.
Outside Duties. Consistent with the expectations traditionally assigned to professional employees, it is recognized that the teachers work hours may often extend beyond the assigned workday. Such additional extra duties may include grading student papers and tests, meeting with parents and community groups, and various other activities. Employees will not, however, be required to chaperone dances, ticket sales, or provide crowd control at athletic events outside regular working hours except by voluntary agreement of the individual(s) involved. Employees who work on school events will receive school passes for those events.
Outside Duties. If a PSRP member is asked to do tasks and assignments outside the normal responsibilities of their position (and not including substitute teaching), they shall be compensated additionally at the non-instructional rate.

A Director of Schools or the Executive Director of Schools will have the discretion to pay a PASS leader up to two thousand dollars ($2,000) annually for duties outside of their normal job responsibilities. The SPS/PASS Workload Committee will develop guidelines for use by an Executive Director of Schools.
Outside Duties. Except in emergencies, the outdoor duties of teacher aides and/or attendance aides shall be performed on a rotational basis.

Caretaking personnel shall be relieved of all work outside the school building except for placing and removing water hoses, sprinkler systems, etc. as required for watering purposes in order to maintain lawns and gardens in good condition.
