School Events. Bargaining unit members may be permitted to attend school events, except where prohibited by law, or where attendance conflicts with their assigned work schedule, and will be given staff passes allowing admittance.
School Events. All sanctioned school events happening on Marysville School District Property.
School Events. Bargaining unit members shall be admitted to all events sponsored by and held at Northwestern Schools without charge excluding fundraising events. A bargaining unit member will receive a non-transferable pass for that purpose and, upon acceptance, agree to intervene at such activities, as a District employee, if necessary to maintain order and discipline.
School Events. Employees working school events outside of regular work hours shall be paid their hourly rate or overtime rate, if applicable. Salaried bargaining unit employees are expected to attend no more than three (3) EPIC school events outside their regular workday with no additional pay. Parent-teacher conferences are not considered a School Event subject to this provision. When required to attend additional events, Employees working school events outside of regular work hours shall be paid their hourly rate for hourly employees and non-instructional rate for teachers, if applicable.
School Events. Teachers agree that their attendance at school events displays support to the individual student participants, fellow teachers who are advisors, and the school as a whole. Attendance at school events is encouraged.
School Events. All bargaining unit members, upon request to the Athletic Director shall be provided without cost a ticket to any Board-sponsored or extracurricular event for which admission is charged except events which are sponsored for the sole purpose of fundraising. Such ticket may be used only by the employee or a member of the employee’s immediate family.
School Events. The following duties will be a part of the work year for all members of the bargaining unit and, with the exception of Graduation day, will be paid as overtime if such work is in excess of the forty (40) hour threshold set forth in Article IX: • Home football games • Homecoming Dance • Prom • Graduation day Graduation day will be paid as overtime.
School Events. All Teaching Staff shall attend the following events without additional compensation: Staff Development Days, Admissions Open House, Curriculum Night, Parent Teacher Conferences, Board Staff Reception, Staff Meetings. All Teaching Staff shall participate in two (2) of the following school events without additional compensation, which may be outside of the regular School hours: MLK March, Farm Festival, Parents Association Meeting, New Admissions Reception, Big Night Out, and Farm Outing Day. MCS will endeavor to schedule these events at the beginning of each school year. If too few Teaching Staff have agreed to participate in any event, MCS shall first notify applicable Teaching Staff of such occurrence and the number of Teaching Staff who must be reallocated so that Teaching Staff may decide among themselves who shall participate in each to meet MCS’s minimum attendance requirements, and if such reallocation is not sufficient to meet MCS’s minimum attendance requirements for any event(s), MCS shall determine which Teaching Staff shall participate in each.
School Events. 21.12.1. Each school year, Instructional Teaching Staff and Instructional Student Services Staff shall attend up to three (3) important school events that occur outside of the Instructional Day. Examples of such events include but are not limited to graduation day, open house, and school dances.
School Events. Instructional Staff shall participate in organizing and/or attending four (4) events, two (2) Employer directed events (announced at the beginning of the school year) and two (2) events of the bargaining unit member’s choice, such as Family Literacy Night, Graduation, Open Houses, Art/Music/Drama Presentations, sporting events, dances, etc. The Employer will reasonably accommodate bargaining unit member’s outside commitments making them unavailable for particular events (including rescheduled events), and bargaining unit members shall not be disciplined or compelled to use PTO as a result. A representative of the Employer from the Campus (e.g. a Principal) must be present at each mandated event and shall be responsible for addressing any safety issues, health concerns, or emergencies. Notwithstanding the foregoing, all liability shall rest with the Employer.
