Overnight Shifts Sample Clauses

Overnight Shifts. At each worksite at which there is an overnight shift, the employer shall assign a minimum of two (2) security employees at main College facilities, which shall exclude the District Office, and learning and vocational center facilities.
Overnight ShiftsAny employee required to sleep over in the residence between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. shall be paid the Provincial Minimum Wage hourly rate. For the purpose of this Article, all hours worked in overnight shifts shall not be included in the calculation of hours in Articles 15.01 and Articles 20.03 nor count as hours worked for the purpose of wage progression in Appendix B-1. Health benefits, sick time benefits and pension benefits shall not apply for all hours worked in overnight shifts. Vacation pay for all overnight nights shall be paid out on each pay period.
Overnight ShiftsAny employee required to sleep over in the residence between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. The first and the last hour of each shift shall be awake time paid at the Support Worker rate of pay, the rest shall be paid the Provincial Minimum Wage hourly rate. For the purpose of this Article, all hours worked in overnight shifts shall not be included in the calculation of hours in Articles 15.01 and Articles 20.03 nor count as hours worked for the purpose of wage progression in Appendix B-1. For clarity, the first and last hour of the night shift shall not be used for the calculation of hours in Articles 15.01 and Articles 20.03 nor count as hours worked for the purpose of wage progression in Appendix B- 1 when attached to a regularly scheduled shift. Health benefits, sick time benefits (sick time benefits shall be paid for the first and last hour) and pension benefits shall not apply for all hours worked in overnight shifts. Vacation pay for all overnight nights shall be paid out on each pay period.
Overnight Shifts. It is understood that holiday shifts shall be those shifts which start within the 24 hours which constitute the day of the holiday. It is understood that no employee shall be compensated under this Article for more than one such shift per holiday. It is also understood that in the event that an employee works two shifts starting within the 24 hours of the holiday only the shift of which the greater number of shift hours fall within the twenty-four (24) hours of the holiday shall be paid for or compensated for as a holiday shift. It is further understood that the Company shall not artificially alter start times or lengths of shift in order to amend the effect of this article.

  • Overnight Trips If the Company determines that overnight travel is required, the employee will be reimbursed for expenses, which are supported by receipts as follows: A.   • Overnight Delivery When delivered by an overnight delivery service, charges prepaid or charged to the sender’s account, notice is effective on delivery, if delivery is confirmed by the delivery service.

  • Night Shift Employees who are required to work at least five-eighths of their normal daily tour of duty after 4:30 p.m. and before 8:00 a.m. shall be paid at the rate of five percent over and above his/her normal biweekly or hourly rate of pay for the entire shift so worked.

  • Daylight Saving Where by reason of State legislation, summer time is prescribed as being in advance of the standard time in that State the length of any shift: • Commencing before the time prescribed by the relevant legislation for the commencement of a summer time period, and • Commencing on or before the time prescribed by such legislation for the termination of a summer time period, shall be deemed to be the number of hours represented by the difference between the time recorded by the clock at the beginning of the shift and the time so recorded at the end of the shift. The time of the clock in each case is to be set to the time fixed by the relevant State legislation. In this subclause the expressions "standard time" and "summer time" shall bear the same meaning as are prescribed by the relevant State legislation.

  • Christmas Day Melbourne Cup Day (or alternative days in regional areas);

  • Night Shift Differential Unit 12 employees who regularly work shifts shall receive a night shift differential as set forth below: A. Employees shall qualify for the first night shift pay differential of forty (40) cents per hour where four (4) or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift falls between 6 p.m. and 12 midnight. B. Employees shall qualify for the second night shift pay differential of fifty (50) cents per hour where four (4) or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift fall between 12 midnight and 6 a.m. C. A "regularly scheduled work shift" are those regularly assigned work hours established by the department director or designee.

  • Sleeping Room Rate(s) A. The Contractor shall provide sleeping rooms to the Attendees at the following rate during the Program: i. For single occupancy room, $@@@.@@ per night per room. B. The Contractor agrees that it will waive all applicable taxes and surcharges for Attendees listed on the Master Account Approval List, pursuant to the Hotel/Motel Transient Occupancy Tax Waiver (Exemption Certificate for State Agencies) form signed by the Judicial Council and included in this Agreement in Exhibit H. C. The Contractor may xxxx tax and/or surcharges, and/or tourism fees, if any, in addition to as included in the sleeping room rate, as set forth in this provision. D. The Contractor shall extend the sleeping room rate to Attendees two (2) Days before the Program and two (2) Days after the Program based on availability.

  • Certified Mail When mailed by certified mail, return receipt requested, notice is effective upon receipt, if delivery is confirmed by a return receipt.
