Part-Time Teacher Benefits. Teachers employed by this Board shall be eligible to participate in Board Benefit Plans. Where there is a cost involved, the Board shall contribute an amount towards benefits calculated by multiplying the percentage of time worked by the amount of Board Participation for Full-Time Teachers.

Part-Time Teacher Benefits. Hospitalization, medical and surgical coverage, life insurance and dental insurance benefits shall also be made available to teachers working half-time or more. For teachers working half-time or more, but less than full-time, the school district shall contribute a pro-rata portion of the school district's costs of these benefits for full-time teachers. The school district will contribute its share of the benefit cost only when an eligible teacher elects to participate in a given benefit and agrees to pay their portion of that benefit cost through payroll deduction. Long-term disability benefits shall be made available to teachers working half-time or more at teacher expense.
Part-Time Teacher Benefits. Part-time teachers shall be granted the benefits provided full-time teachers (other than those benefits which the agreement specifically limits to tenured teachers, those who serve in a tenure area or those who have completed their probationary period), on a pro-rated basis. (E.g. a teacher employed on a 2/5 basis shall receive 40% of each benefit provided a full-time teacher), except as follows: A. In the case of medical insurance, (i.) all part-time teachers shall be provided at least the minimum required by law or regulation; and ii.) part- time teachers employed on a 3/5th (60%) basis or greater, shall be provided the same medical insurance benefit as a full-time teacher; B. In the case of dental insurance, the District shall pay 100% of the premium payment for family coverage under the same dental plan offered to full time teachers as provided in Article 17.B. and C. in the case of paid leave (sick, bereavement and personal) the part time teacher shall be calculated on a pro-rata basis, rounded to the nearest full day (e.g. 1.4 days equals 1 day; 1.6 days equals 2 days.)
Part-Time Teacher Benefits. Teachers hired after July 1, 2005, shall be provided health insurance, by the same ratio as the percentage of time taught when they are hired as part-time teachers. Part-time teachers falling into the ratio agreement shall be entitled to buyout health insurance on the same ratio basis. The superintendent may increase the health ratio for specific hiring without regard to practice.

  • Other Benefits During the Term, the Executive shall be eligible to participate in or receive benefits under the Company’s employee benefit plans in effect from time to time, subject to the terms of such plans.

  • PART-TIME EMPLOYEE BENEFITS Regular part time employees shall be provided the opportunity to purchase benefits of one of the plans described in Article XVII, Sections B and C at the Employer plan’s premium cost. The Employer will pay the Employer’s monthly share of the premium cost at a ratio proportionate to the employee’s part time condition of employment contingent upon receipt of the employee’s yearly share of the employee’s premium.

  • Part-Time Teachers A "part-time teacher" is one who is employed under written contract but who is assigned to duties on a regular basis that requires less than a full-time equivalent. A part-time teacher shall be paid a salary in accordance with the basic salary schedule, proportionate to the percentage of the full-time equivalent taught each day as outlined in the written contract.

  • Part-Time Employee Part-time employee" means an employee who is normally scheduled to work fewer than 80 hours in a biweekly payroll period.

  • Standard Benefits During the Employment Period, Executive shall be entitled to participate in all employee benefit plans and programs, including paid vacations, generally available to other similarly situated Company executives, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
