Pay for work on a designated holiday. A full-time employee who is required to work on a holiday shall be paid at the rate of time and one half (1½) for all hours worked on the holiday and shall receive another day off with pay at the employee’s regular rate of pay. If a holiday falls during an employee’s vacation or on an employee’s regularly scheduled day off, the Employer shall schedule another day off in lieu of the holiday. Employees have the option of being paid the holiday pay, or taking another day with pay, in lieu of the holiday. The employee’s preferred option must be stated in writing to the Program Manager thirty (30) days prior to each holiday during the year.

Pay for work on a designated holiday. An employee, who is required to work on a designated holiday, shall be paid at the rate of one and one‐half times the employee’s regular straight time hourly rate for all hours worked on the holiday. In addition, a full‐time employee shall receive another day off with pay at the employee's regular straight time hourly rate calculated according to the Employment Standards Act formula provided the employee is qualified in accordance with Article 17.02. Such day off shall be taken on a day that the employee and the employee’s supervisor agree upon.

  • Compensation for Work on a Holiday (a) Where an Employee is regularly scheduled to work, in accordance with Article 14, and her regularly scheduled day of work falls on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 18.01, she shall receive compensation equal to two and one-half (2 ½) times her regular rate of pay as follows:
