Pay Range Assignments. Recognizing that changes may occur in jobs during the term of this Contract due to technology, new programs, evolution of responsibilities, and in the interest of enabling employees to realize the prompt benefit of equitable pay at the earliest date possible, the parties agree to meet quarterly during the term of this Contract in an attempt to mutually agree upon such pay range re-assignments.
Pay Range Assignments. Except as provided by Section 44.3 below, effective July 1, 2023, each classification represented by the Union will continue to be assigned to the same salary range to which it was assigned on June 30, 2023.
Pay Range Assignments.
A. Effective July 1, 2021, each classification represented by the Association will continue to be assigned to the same salary range of the “Washington State General Service Salary Schedule Effective January 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023” as it was assigned on June 30, 2021.
B. Effective July 1, 2021, each employee will continue to be assigned to the same range and step of the 2021-2023 State General Service Salary Schedule that they were assigned on June 30, 2021.
C. All ranges and steps of the General Service Salary Schedule will be as shown in Appendix B, effective, July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022. This salary increase is based on the General Service Salary Schedule in effect on June 30, 2021.
D. Effective July 1, 2022, all ranges and steps of the General Service Salary Schedule will be increased by three and twenty-five hundredths percent (3.25%), as shown in Appendix C. This salary increase is based on the General Service Salary Schedule in effect on June 30, 2022.
Pay Range Assignments. A. Effective July 1, 2007, each classification represented by the Union will continue to be assigned to the same salary range of the “Washington State Salary Schedule Effective July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007” that it was assigned on June 30, 2007, except as provided for in Subsection 41.7. Effective July 1, 2007, each employee will continue to be assigned to the same range and step of the State Salary Schedule that he or she was assigned on June 30, 2007, except as provided for in Subsection 41.1 D and 41.7.
B. Effective July 1, 2007, the “State Salary Schedule Effective July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007” will remain in effect.
C. Effective July 1, 2007, all salary ranges and steps of the State Salary Schedule will be increased by 3.2%, as shown in Appendix C, attached.
D. Effective July 1, 2007, all employees who have been at Step K for one (1) year or more will progress to a new Step L of the State Salary Schedule as shown in Appendix C, attached.
E. Effective July 1, 2008, all salary ranges and steps of the State Salary Schedule that will become effective on July 1, 2007, will be increased by 2.0% as shown in Appendix D, attached.
F. Employees who are paid above the maximum for their range on the effective date of the increases described in Subsections C and E above, will not receive the specified increase to their current pay unless the new range encompasses their current rate of pay.
Pay Range Assignments. A. Effective July 1, 2013, each classification represented by the Union will continue to be assigned to the same salary range of the ―Washington State General Service Salary Schedule Effective July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009‖ that it was assigned on June 30, 2013. Effective July 1, 2013, each employee will continue to be assigned to the same range and step of the State General Service Salary Schedule that he or she was assigned on June 30, 2013.
B. Effective July 1, 2013, all employees who have been at Step L for six (6) consecutive years or more will progress to a new Step M of the State General Service Salary Schedule, provided that this provision will be implemented only to the extent such rate adjustments are funded by the State’s General Fund.
Pay Range Assignments. A. Effective July 1, 2015, each classification represented by the Union will continue to be assigned to the same salary range of the “General Service Salary Schedule Effective July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2015” that it was assigned on June 30, 2015. Effective July 1, 2015, each employee will continue to be assigned to the same range and step of the State Salary Schedule that he or she was assigned on June 30, 2015.
B. Effective July 1, 2015, all ranges and steps of the “General Service Salary Schedule will be increased by three percent (3%) as shown in Appendix B. This increase will be based on the salary schedule in effect on June 30, 2015.
C. Effective July 1, 2016, the “General Service Salary Schedule will be increased by one percent (1 %) as shown in Appendix B. This increase will be based upon the salary schedule in effect on June 30, 2016.
D. In addition to B and C above, effective July 1, 2016, all salary ranges and steps in the General Service Salary Schedule, as shown in Compensation Appendix B will be increased by eight tenths of a percent (0.8%) or twenty dollars ($20.00) per month, whichever is greater. NOTE: Twenty dollars ($20.00) per month is about eleven and one-half cents ($0.11.5) per hour.
E. Employees who are paid above the maximum for their range on the effective date of the increase described in B, C, and D above will not receive the specified increase to their current pay unless the new range encompasses their current rate of pay.
Pay Range Assignments. A. Effective July 1, 20232025, each classification represented by the Association will continue to be assigned to the same salary range of the “Washington State General Service Salary Schedule Effective January 1, 2023 2025through June 30, 20252027” as it was assigned on June 30, 20232025.
B. Effective July 1, 20232025, each employee will continue to be assigned to the same range and step of the 2023-2025 2025-2027 State General Service Salary Schedule that the employee they were was assigned to on June 30, 20232025.
C. All ranges and steps of the General Service Salary Schedule will be as shown in Appendix B, effective, July 1, 2023 2025 to June 30, 20242027. This salary increase is based on the General Service Salary Schedule in effect on June 30, 20232025.
D. Effective July 1, 20232025, all ranges and steps of the General Service Salary Schedule will be increased by four three percent (34%), as shown in Appendix C. This salary increase is based on the General Service Salary Schedule in effect on June 30, 20232025.
E. Effective July 1, 20242026, all ranges and steps of the General Service Salary Schedule will be increased by three two percent (23%) as shown in Appendix C. This salary increase is based on the General Service Salary Schedule in effect on June 30, 20242026.
Pay Range Assignments. A. Effective July 1, 20253, each classification represented by the Union will continue to be assigned to the same salary range of the “Washington State Salary Schedule Effective July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2025” applicable to Teamsters bargaining units (the 20231-20253 Teamsters Salary Schedule) that it was assigned on June 30, 20253. Effective July 1, 20235, each employee will continue to be assigned to the same range and step of the 20253-20275 Teamsters Salary Schedule that they were assigned on June 30, 20253.
Pay Range Assignments. A. Effective July 1, 2005, each classification represented by the Union will continue to be assigned to the same salary range of the “Washington State Salary Schedule for General Government and Higher Education – Effective July 1, 2001” (State Salary Schedule) as it was assigned on June 30, 2005. Effective July 1, 2005, each employee will continue to be assigned to the same range and step of the State Salary Schedule that he or she was assigned on June 30, 2005.
B. Effective July 1, 2005, all salary ranges and steps of the State Salary Schedule will be increased by 3.2%, as shown in Compensation Appendix A, attached.
C. Effective July 1, 2006, all salary ranges and steps of the State Salary Schedule which will become effective on July 1, 2005 will be increased by 1.6%, as shown in Compensation Appendix B, attached. This State Salary Schedule will remain in effect for twelve (12) months.
D. Employees who are paid above the maximum for their range on the effective dates of the increases described in Subsections B and C, above, will not receive the specified increase to their current pay unless the new range encompasses their current rate of pay.

Effective July 1, 2009, each classification represented by the Association will continue to be assigned to the same salary range of the “Washington State General Service Salary Schedule Effective July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009” as it was assigned on June 30, 2009. Effective July 1, 2009, each employee will continue to be assigned to the same range and step of the State General Service Salary Schedule that he/she was assigned on June 30, 2009.
B. Effective July 1, 2009, all salary ranges and steps of the State General Service Salary Schedule will remain in effect through June 30, 2011 as shown in Compensation Appendix A, attached.
