PAYROLL RULES. 9.3.1 The annual salary shall be divided into twenty-four (24) equal installments, less such deductions required by law, contract, or initiated by the employee. The equal installments shall be deposited to the employee’s account of choice, electronically on the 10th and 26th of the month. Employees will review check pay stub via Employee Access. If these dates fall on a weekend or holiday, the payment will be deposited the last work day prior to the holiday or weekend. 9.3.2 The Board of Education authorizes voluntary payroll deductions for certain purposes when requested by employees and approved by the Board. All docks must be completed by the last payroll in May and may not be spread-out for more than 8 pay periods. If an employee has used up all sick and personal time during the school year, the dock shall be taken in the corresponding payroll unless the superintendent approves extenuating conditions such as a maternity leave. All docks need to be paid by June 10 9.3.3 Any dues, payments, or contributions payable by the employee labor professional organization will be deducted only upon receipt of a signed authorization by the individual employee. This must be done by September 15. 9.3.4 In the event that the District is served with a specially certified Order of Withholding and a Notice of Delinquency, the District is required to withhold payment of income for the support of a child or maintenance of a spouse from an employee under the following acts: The Illinois Public Aid Code; the Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act; Non-Support of Spouse and Children Act; the Revised Uniform Reciprocal Enforcement of Support Act; the Paternity Act. The District may deduct a one-dollar service fee each pay period from the employee's income when support or maintenance funds are withheld or the statutory fee, whichever is more. 9.3.5 Regular pay statement normally due on the 10th or 26th of a month will be paid on the last workday prior to these dates if they fall on a weekend or holiday. 9.3.6 Duty and Coaching Stipends are paid on the first payroll in December and the first payroll in June. Time cards for extra duty are to be turned in within two weeks of the date of the duty. 9.3.7 Mileage and other reimbursements are paid after formal approval by the Board of Education.

  • Payroll Procedures ‌ A. The District will continue a 26-equal pay payroll schedule for employees who work at least a 190 day work calendar with paychecks electronically deposited every other Friday in the employee’s choice of a financial institution beginning on a Friday selected by the District. If a Friday pay date falls on a date the District is closed, the paychecks will be electronically deposited no later than the Friday pay date the District is closed unless such Friday is a banking holiday. In such cases, the paychecks will be electronically deposited no later than the last preceding banking day. The District will continue a 22 equal pay payroll schedule for employees who work less than a 190-day work calendar and they will have their payroll checks electronically deposited every other Friday on a Friday selected by the District as provide above for employees who work at least a 190-day work calendar. The District will work with employees who do not have an account with a financial institution to establish an account(s) with the Credit Union to provide for these electronic deposits. B. The Parties recognize the right of the District to require the electronic deposit of all employees’ paychecks as set forth above; however, the District has not mandated such electronic deposits and will not do so without first giving the Union and each affected employee at least forty-five (45) calendar days advance notice of its intent to implement electronic deposits for all employees. The District will work with employees who do not have an account with a financial institution to establish an account(s) with the Credit Union to provide for these electronic deposits. Until such time the District requires electronic deposits of all employees’ paychecks, those employees who do not have electronic deposit will be paid via US Mail so that they receive their mailed paychecks on or soon after the normal Friday pay date. Those employees who select electronic deposit of their paychecks will maintain that means of receiving their pay and may not revert to any other means of being paid. C. The District will implement a paperless payroll effective January 1, 2011 whereas employees will not receive a paper pay stub, but will be able to access payroll stub and other payroll information including their Federal W-2 Annual Earnings Statement by going to a District website location and, after entering their personal password, be able to view and retrieve their individual payroll information as well as being able to view and make some payroll information changes on-line such as the employee’s Federal W-4 Form. Employees who are in need of computer training to be able to access this information will be offered this training at a mutually agreed time during or after their regular working hours. D. The Union is invited to appoint two (2) representatives to provide input on topics that will be addressed by the District’s ad hoc Payroll Advisory Committee. One topic of the ad hoc Payroll Advisory Committee will be to make an annual recommendation to the Chief Operating Officer of the first Friday paycheck date of each school year for employees who are less than 12 month employees. Another topic to be addressed by this ad hoc Committee will be to recommend to the District the best means of communicating in advance with all employee groups the payroll schedules for the ensuing school year. To that end, such Union representatives will be provided a TDE at District expense to attend meetings of this Committee when such meetings are scheduled during regular duty hours.

  • School Rules The School rules which apply are set out on the School website and other documents published from time to time. The Parents are requested to read these documents carefully with the Pupil before they accept the offer of a place.

  • Payroll Errors Any payroll error resulting in insufficient payment for an employee in the bargaining unit shall be corrected, and a supplemental check issued, not later than five (5) working days after the employee provides notice to the payroll department.

  • General Rules 1.1 Unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the definitions set forth in this Article of this Agreement shall apply to the entire Agreement and all attachments incorporated by reference herein into this Agreement. A defined term intended to convey the meaning stated in this Agreement is capitalized when used. 1.2 Additional definitions that are specific to the matters covered in a particular Article, attachment or provision may appear in that Article, attachment or provision. To the extent that there is any difference of interpretation between a definition set forth in this Agreement and any definition in a specific Article, attachment or provision, the definition set forth in the specific Article, attachment or provision shall control with respect to that Article, attachment or provision. 1.3 Capitalized terms that are not otherwise defined in this Article or elsewhere within the Agreement but are defined in the Telecommunications Act of 1996 (Act) and/or the orders and rules implementing the Act shall have the meaning set forth in the Act or in such orders and rules. 1.4 Terms used in a Tariff shall have the meanings stated in the Tariff. 1.5 Unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, any term defined in this Agreement which is defined or used in the singular shall include the plural, and any term defined in this Agreement which is defined or used in the plural shall include the singular. 1.6 The words “shall” and “will” are used interchangeably throughout the Agreement and the use of either indicates a mandatory requirement. The use of one or the other shall not confer a different degree of right or obligation for either Party.

  • Procedural Rules 1 The provisions of Union law governing the different types of administrative procedures covered by this Chapter shall apply to the procedures referred to in Articles 92, 93 and 96.

  • Other Payroll Deductions Upon appropriate written authorization from the employee, the Board shall deduct from the salary of any employee and make appropriate remittance for annuities, credit union, savings bonds, insurance, or any other plans or programs approved by the parties.

  • ESPP As soon as administratively practicable following the date of this Agreement, but not later than the day immediately prior to the date on which the first (1st) offering period that is regularly scheduled to commence under the ESPP after the date of this Agreement is scheduled to commence, the Company (or, if appropriate, the applicable committee administering the ESPP) shall take all actions necessary or required under the ESPP (including, if appropriate, amending the terms of the ESPP) and applicable Law to (i) suspend the ESPP so that (x) no further offering periods shall commence after the date of this Agreement, (y) no individual participating in any offering period in progress as of the date of this Agreement shall be permitted to increase the amount of his or her rate of payroll contributions thereunder from the rate in effect when the last offering period commenced, or to make separate non-payroll contributions to the ESPP on or following the date of this Agreement; and (z) no individual who is not participating in the ESPP as of the date of this Agreement may commence participation in the ESPP following the date of this Agreement, (ii) end the last offering period that commenced prior to the date of this Agreement on the earlier to occur of its regularly scheduled end date under the terms of the ESPP or three (3) calendar days prior to the Effective Time, and (iii) cause the ESPP to terminate as of the Effective Time such that no further rights shall be granted or exercised under the ESPP thereafter. With respect to the offering period that is in effect on the date of this Agreement, each ESPP participant may apply his or her accumulated payroll deductions to purchase shares of the Company Common Stock under the ESPP in accordance with its terms on the regularly scheduled purchase date for such offering period; provided, that, if the Closing Date occurs prior to the purchase date for the offering period, then each ESPP participant’s accumulated payroll deductions under the ESPP shall be used to purchase Shares in accordance with the terms of the ESPP no later than three (3) business days prior to the Effective Time; provided, further, that the applicable purchase price per Share as set forth in the ESPP shall not be decreased below levels set forth in the ESPP as of the date hereof. All Shares of Company Common Stock purchased under the ESPP shall be considered outstanding Shares for all purposes of this Agreement, including, without limitation, for purposes of the right to receive the Forms of Election and to make elections and receive the Merger Consideration with respect thereto.
