– Police Vehicle Policy. In an effort to reduce the long-term costs to the City in maintenance, repairs and liability, a take-home vehicle program will continue on a phased-in process to the extent that funds are available in compliance with State and Federal law from the Police Confiscated Fund. Purchase Orders for the purchase of the vehicles for the take-home program shall be issued within 60 days after the receipt of the State of Florida contracted bid prices (estimated in January of each year). Bargaining unit members who are participants in the Take-Home Vehicle Program as of October 1, 1997, shall continue in the Take-Home Vehicle Program as prescribed by the City Commission approved Policy and the Department S.O.P. Thereafter, priority for allocation of take-home cars shall be given to all eligible personnel by Departmental seniority. To defray the operating expense incurred by the City as a result of the non-official use of take- home vehicles, employees shall be assessed a user fee. The fee shall be based on the location of their primary residence as shown below: LOCATION BIWEEKLY FEE Miami Beach -0- Dade County (other than Miami Beach) $25.00 Broward County $30.00 Palm Beach County (as limited below) $45.00 or $75.00 The take-home vehicle program shall be available to any sworn officer who was hired before July 18th, 2001 [the ratification date of 2000-2003 Agreement] who resides in Miami-Dade or Broward County. Except as stated in this section, the take-home vehicle program shall not be available to any sworn officer who is hired on or after July 18th, 2001 [the ratification date of the 2000-2003 Agreement] (except police applicants in the background process) and resides outside of Miami-Dade County but is available to a sworn officer who is living outside Miami- Dade County and moves back to Miami-Dade County. As of July 2010, there were one hundred ten (110) cars allocated in the take home vehicle program for Broward County. Going forward, a number of vehicles to be determined (but no less than one hundred ten (110) vehicles) by the mutual agreement of the Police Chief and the FOP will be allocated for Broward County. The four (4) police officers currently residing in Palm Beach County will be allowed to retain their take home cars and will continue to pay at their current rates (i.e., the $45.00 or $75.00 that applied to each of them respectively per the terms of the 2003-2006 Agreement) for their vehicles.   • Vehicle Insurance You shall, at your own expense, maintain business motor vehicle liability insurance (“Vehicle Insurance”), including coverage for loading and unloading Equipment and hired motor vehicle physical damage insurance, covering owned, non-owned, hired and rented vehicles, including utility vehicles such as trailers. Coverage for physical damage shall include “comprehensive” and “collision” coverage. We shall be named as an additional insured with respect to the liability coverage, and as a loss payee with respect to the physical damage coverage. The Vehicle Insurance shall also include coverage for pollution caused by any vehicles. The Vehicle Insurance shall provide not less than $1,000,000 in combined single limits liability coverage and actual cash value for physical damage and shall provide that said insurance is primary coverage with respect to all insureds, the limits of which must be exhausted before any obligation arises under our insurance.

  • Fair Use Policy Betty Blocks has a fair use policy in relation to accessing and using the Services. For the purpose of this fair use policy, Client may not vary from the average in a disproportionate manner, having regard to the amount of CPU power, data storage and data traffic used by Client. In such event, Betty Blocks is entitled to temporarily limit or restrict access to the Services and/or require that Client to purchase additional Services, such as extra storage capacity.

  • Equipment and Vehicle Parking Company will ensure that all equipment, including but not limited to, vehicles owned or operated by Company, its vendors and/or contractors, will not be parked in a manner that interferes in any way with any operations at the Airport. Company’s equipment and vehicles and those of its vendors and/or contractors will be parked in designated parking areas as provided by Authority. No vehicle shall access the AOA unless directly related to Company’s business operations. All vehicles driven, escorted, or parked on the AOA must meet Authority’s insurance requirements and any other applicable Authority Rules and Regulations and security requirements. All vehicles, including those of Company’s Parties, excluding escorted vehicles, accessing the AOA must bear Company’s identification on both sides of the vehicle which should be identifiable from a distance of fifty (50) feet. Company must also display Authority’s logo decal. Information regarding vehicle access to the AOA is available from Authority’s Badging Office. All persons accessing the AOA must adhere to Authority’s SIDA training, Airport Security Program, and TSA regulations. Company will verify that its Company Parties who operate motorized vehicles on Airport property have a valid driver’s license. Company will provide evidence in writing of such verification within fifteen (15) days’ of written request by Authority. If Company fails to provide verification or if Company’s Party is found to be driving on Airport property without a valid driver’s license, Authority will revoke the offending driver’s ID Media and may assess liquidated damages against Company of up to $1,000 per occurrence. Said liquidated damages will be due and payable within fifteen (15) days’ notice of invoice for the same. On a quarterly basis, Company will conduct and maintain periodic audits of the status of the driver’s licenses of Company Parties to ensure that they possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Such audits shall be provided to Authority upon fifteen (15) days’ written request by Authority.

  • Business Automobile Insurance This insurance shall contain a combined single limit of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence, and include coverage for, but not limited to the following:  Bodily injury and property damage  Any and all vehicles owned, used or hired The policy shall also contain the following endorsements or language, which shall be indicated on the certificate of insurance:  Waiver of subrogation in favor of and acceptable to Railway.  Additional insured endorsement in favor of and acceptable to Railway.  Separation of insureds.  The policy shall be primary and non-contributing with respect to any insurance carried by Railway.

  • Private Vehicle Damage Where an employee’s vehicle is damaged by a student at a worksite or an approved school function, or as a direct result of the employee being employed by the employer, the employer shall reimburse the employee the lesser of actual vehicle damage repair costs, or the cost of any deductible portion of insurance coverage on that vehicle up to a maximum of $600.

  • Vehicle Maintenance (a) The Company agrees to maintain all vehicles up to standards which will insure that the employees who operate such vehicles are not exposed to such hazards as arise out of lack of proper maintenance. Each employee who operates a Company vehicle bears the direct responsibility for its safe and proper operation. Each such employee is also responsible for reporting any malfunction of equipment, mechanical defect, and any accident involving the vehicle.

The policy provision(s) or endorsement(s) must further provide that coverage is primary and not excess over or contributory with any other valid, applicable, and collectible insurance or self-insurance in force for the additional insureds.
