Presentation of Grievances. Where the Union wishes to present a grievance, an authorized representative shall transmit the grievance to an authorized representative of the Corporation, who shall forthwith: (a) enter on the grievance and the copies the date on which the grievance was received; (b) provide the Union representative with a copy of the grievance; (c) forward the grievance to the representative of the Corporation authorized to reply to the grievance. (d) The Corporation agrees to distribute to the Union copies of the grievances submitted and copies of its reply in the following manner:

(b) Notwithstanding paragraph (a) hereinabove, an authorized representative of the Union may transmit the grievance directly to the person designated by the Corporation at its head office in the case of a collective grievance concerning a group of employees, the employees as a whole or the Union, and in the case of a policy grievance. (c) Except as otherwise provided for in the Collective Agreement, a meeting within the context of the grievance procedure shall be held in the following location: (i) LOCAL LEVEL: with the authorized representative of the Corporation; the meeting is held in the postal installation of the authorized representative of the Corporation.
