Procedure for Admission. 2.1 Request for hospitalization shall be made by the beneficiary as per the admission format specimen provided with the NSP Handbook, which will be provided to GIITL by the NSP.

Admission Application: a New Meter Operator Party wishing to be admitted as an additional party for the purposes only of this Schedule, on the terms set out in paragraph 2 hereof, shall complete a Meter Operator Party Admission Application and shall deliver it to the Executive Committee together with the fee (which shall be non-refundable).

No Person will be admitted as an Additional Member until such Person (i) executes and acknowledges such instruments, in form and substance satisfactory to the Manager, as the Manager deems necessary or advisable to effect such admission and to confirm the agreement of the Person being admitted to be bound by the terms and provisions of this Agreement; and (ii) makes such Capital Contribution as determined by the Manager. The Company shall reflect the admission of such Additional Member in the records of the Company as soon as possible after satisfaction of the conditions set forth in this Agreement. Exhibit B shall be deemed to be amended to reflect the admission of the Additional Member upon such admission; and each of the Members then of record hereby consents to such amendment to the extent required by law or this Agreement.

On receipt of such request and after due scrutiny, GIITL will issue Authority Letter and/or Authorization Letter (AL) specifying beneficiary’s entitlement of available benefits. The AL will be either faxed to the NSP or hand delivered by the beneficiary and produced at the time of admission. The Provider will not admit any GIITL beneficiary without AL except in case of emergency. The Authorization from GIITL will clearly mention in BOLD prints that all reports and films will be sent to GIITL and not be handed over to the beneficiary. The beneficiary will be treated as a credit patient on GIITL Account. The NSP shall allow the credit facility up to the maximum limit as mentioned in the Authority Letter issued by GIITL. The expenses incurred in excess of the limit allowed in the AL shall not be payable by GIITL and the NSP shall recover such expenses directly from the beneficiary before discharge. In case of emergency, when the beneficiary requires emergency admission the NSP shall admit the beneficiary on the basis of Photo Identity card issued by GIITL and arrange to send the information through Pre-Authorization Form duly completed within 24 hrs. Procedure for Admission. After the Effective Date, a Person (other than an existing Partner) who makes a Capital Contribution to the Partnership in accordance with this Agreement shall be admitted to the Partnership as an additional Limited Partner only upon furnishing to the General Partner (i) evidence of acceptance, in form satisfactory to the General Partner, of all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement, including, without limitation, the power of attorney granted in Section 10.5 hereof and (ii) such other documents or instruments as may be required in the discretion of the General Partner in order to effect such Person's admission as an additional Limited Partner. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Section 14.1, no Person shall be admitted as an additional Limited Partner without the consent of the General Partner, which consent may be given or withheld in the General Partner's sole and absolute discretion. The admission of any Person as an additional Limited Partner shall become effective on the date upon which the name of such Person is recorded on the books and records of the Partnership, following the consent of the General Partner to such admission.

(a) No Person shall be admitted as a Substitute Member or Additional Member until such Person and the Company execute an agreement (an “Admission Agreement”) whereby such Person (A) agrees to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, as such agreement may be amended from time to time in accordance herewith, and to such other terms and conditions as the Board shall reasonably require in connection with such admission (provided such other terms and conditions are not inconsistent herewith), and (B) in the case of an Additional Member, agrees to make such capital contribution as the Board shall determine and (ii) in the case of an Additional Member, such Person has made the capital contribution required to be made pursuant to such Admission Agreement.
