Promotion Fund. Landlord shall establish an advertising and promotion fund (the "Fund"). The object of the Fund shall be to advertise the Retail Development in the local metropolitan statistical area and to provide a program of events, all of which shall, in Landlord's judgment, serve to enhance and promote the Retail Development and its occupants. Such program of events may include the promotion of coach traffic to the Retail Development and the development of a mall video network within the Retail Development offering a program of information, entertainment and advertisements. The Fund shall be administered by Landlord and the costs and expenses of such administration shall be charged to the Fund. Landlord shall expend all amounts paid to the Fund by the tenants in the Retail Development for the purposes herein set forth.
Promotion Fund. There shall be a United Association Promotion fund known as the ontario Pipe Trades Promotion fund. The Contractor agrees to deduct from each employee the sum of 26 cents for each hour earned and shall remit same to the local Union Administrator, who shall forward the amount to the Secretary-Treasurer of the ontario Pipe Trades Council. Payment for the fund as outlined in this Agreement shall be made in accor- dance with the Payment of funds procedures as outlined in each local appendix. It is understood and agreed that this fund is included in, and to be taken from, the total “gross” package offered by the MTBC.

Promotion Fund. 3.7.1 Tenant shall pay to Landlord as additional rent, a monthly contribution in the amount of $0. psf monthly as Tenant's contribution toward the creation and maintenance of a common Promotion Fund and for the promotion of the Project. Landlord may make available for the promotion of the Project part or all of the services of any promotional staff of Landlord, in which case the salary and out-of-pocket costs to Landlord with respect to such staff, or an appropriate portion of such salary and costs determined in proportion to the time spent in rendering services to the Project to the exclusion of any other duties, shall be deducted from any financial contributions to the Promotion Fund that Landlord, may from time to time, commit to provide to the Promotion Fund, but Landlord shall have no obligation to make any such commitment. Any surplus in the Promotion Fund at the end of the fiscal year of the Promotion Fund shall be carried forward for like purposes in the next year, without any reduction in the amount payable by Tenant pursuant to Section 3.6. 1. Any shortfall of the Promotion Fund in funding the promotion of the Project shall be passed down to tenants as an Operating Expense. 3.7.3 Tenant shall participate in and support all promotional events, functions and activities sponsored or participated in by the Promotion Fund, at no additional cost or expense to Tenant. 3.7.4 In addition to Tenant's contributions to promotion required elsewhere in this Section 3.5, Tenant shall, during each lease year, expend not less than an amount equal to two percent (2%) of its gross sales for such lease year on a program of media advertising related to the Premises or the Project. Promotion Fund. Landlord may, but shall not be obligated to establish a promotion fund to be administered by. Landlord for the promotion or *benefit of the Shopping Center (the "Promotion Fund"). The initial annual charge to Tenant for such Promotion Fund shall be seven thousand five hundred ($7,500.00). The Promotion Fund Charge shall be subject to increases as set forth below. Landlord shall give Tenant written notice of the establishment of the Promotion Fund and Tenant's Initial Promotion Fund Charge which shall be paid by Tenant M within ten (10) days of billing. After establishment of the Promotion Fund Tenant shall pay thereafter to Landlord the Promotion Fund Charge determined in accordance with this paragraph on a quarterly basis in advance during each lease year, within ten (10) days of billing. The Promotion Fund Charge shall be subject to annual adjustment increases, but not decreases, on each anniversary of the date of establishment of a the Promotion Fund in proportion to changes in the Index. Such adjustment, which shall not exceed 2.5% per year, shall be made by multiplying the Promotion Fund Charge by a fraction, the numerator of which is the value of the Index for the o calendar month one (1) month preceding the calendar month for which such adjustment is to be made, and the denominator of which is the value of the Index for the calendar month one (1) year prior to the Index month used for the numerator. Each twelve (12) months ("year") Landlord agrees to contribute a maximum of twenty-five percent (25%) of the total amount of Promotion Fund Charges assessed and paid to the Promotion Fund by all tenants of the Shopping Center for such year, provided, that Landlord, at its option, may elect to contribute all or part of the services of a Promotion Fund Director, and/or secretary and/or assistants and their respective offices as part or all of such cash contribution. The Promotion Fund Director and all other Promotion Fund personnel shall may-be under the exclusive control and supervision of Landlord and Landlord shall have the sole and exclusive authority to employ and discharge the Promotion Fund Director and other Promotion Fund personnel. The salaries of the Promotion Fund Director and other Promotion Fund personnel shall be paid from the Promotion Fund. Promotion Fund. Upon receipt of written notice from Landlord at any time during the term hereof, notifying Tenant of the establishment of a Promotion Fund, the following provisions will apply: a. Tenant shall pay to the Landlord, as additional rent, each Rental Year (or in any other period determined by the Landlord, from time to time) for the purpose of the creation and maintenance of a common fund (the “Promotion Fund”) for the promotion or benefit of the Shopping Center, an annual payment in an amount established by Landlord in its reasonable discretion. b. The Promotion Fund payment for each Rental Year (or other annual period), including the Rental Year in which the Commencement Date occurs, shall be increased at the commencement of each subsequent Rental Year (or other annual period) to equal the amount obtained by multiplying the Promotion Fund payment specified herein by a fraction that has as its numerator the Consumer Price Index (CPI-U) for the first month of the current Rental Year (or other annual period), and as its denominator the CPI-U for the month (or month closest thereto) during which the Promotion Fund is established. c. The Promotion Fund payment shall be made monthly, in advance, as additional rent on the first day of each calendar month during each Rental Year of the term (or during any such other annual period during the term). d. The Promotion Fund payment shall be used by the Landlord for the promotion or benefit of the Shopping Center in such manner as the Landlord from time to time decides. However, the Landlord may pay all or part of the Promotion Fund to any Merchants’ Association which has been or may be formed in the Shopping Center, and any such payment is a good and sufficient discharge of the Landlord’s obligation in respect of the amount so paid. It is understood and agreed that any and all amounts paid to the Landlord under this Article 21 are not deemed income of the Landlord but shall be expended by it as provided in this Article.

Promotion Fund. Tenant shall pay to Center Promotion Fund dues of $600 per year, payable quarterly, in advance, and participate with advertising in four Center promotions a year with at least an $100 ad. If Tenant does not advertise as provided herein, Landlord may charge Tenant for the space and collect funds to pay for advertising required under this Article. All dollar amounts above will be adjusted annually according to Consumer Price Index in the manner described in Paragraph 38.
Promotion Fund. Programmes of the Frisian regional broadcaster will be eligible, until 1 January 2017, for support from central funds in the area of broadcasting productions, such as the Fund for the Promotion of Dutch Cultural Broadcasting Productions. This has been laid down in the articles of the Promotion Fund and elsewhere. In the letter dated 6 December, the Cabinet announced that the budget of the Media Fund would be set to zero as of 1 January 2017. The fund will be wound up on that date. The cuts to the budget will have consequences for the programming of the national and regional public broadcasters. The NPO has announced that it will continue to make the type of programmes funded by the fund. It is important that the NPO ensures a good embedding of the tasks and functions carried out by the Media Fund in promoting and financing specifically public cultural media productions at the national and regional public broadcasters.
