NONDISCRIMINATION, EQUAL OPPORTUNITY AND AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT CONTRACTOR shall not discriminate against any person in its operations and activities in its use or expenditure of funds or any portion of the funds provided by this Agreement and shall affirmatively comply with all applicable provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in the course of providing any services funded in whole or in part by CITY, including Titles I and II of the ADA (regarding nondiscrimination on the basis of disability), and all applicable regulations, guidelines and standards. CONTRACTOR's decisions regarding the delivery of services under this Agreement shall be made without regard to or consideration of race, age, religion, color, gender, sexual orientation (Broward County Code, Chapter 16 ½), gender identity, gender expression, national origin, marital status, physical or mental disability, political affiliation or any other factor which cannot be lawfully or appropriately used as a basis for service delivery. CONTRACTOR shall comply with Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act regarding nondiscrimination on the basis of disability in employment and further shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, age, religion, color, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, marital status, political affiliation, or physical or mental disability. In addition, CONTRACTOR shall take affirmative steps to ensure nondiscrimination in employment against disabled persons.   • Buyer’s Costs Buyer shall pay the following:

  • Interview Expenses An in-service applicant for a posted position who is not on leave of absence without pay and who has been called for a panel interview shall be granted leave of absence with base pay and shall have their authorized expenses paid. An employee granted leave under this section shall notify their supervisor as soon as they are notified of their requirement to appear for an interview.

  • Training Costs All costs and expenses incurred by the Contractor in training as is required under Article 22 of the Contract.

  • Transportation Expenses (a) When an employee is required to report for work and reports under the conditions described in paragraphs 28.05(c), and 28.06(a), and is required to use transportation services other than normal public transportation services, the employee shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred as follows:

  • Assistance expenses The Parties shall waive all claims on each other for the reimbursement of expenses incurred in accordance with this Chapter, except, as appropriate, for expenses related to experts and witnesses and to interpreters and translators who are not public officials.

  • Operating Costs The Assuming Institution agrees, during its period of use of any Leased Data Management Equipment, to pay to the Receiver or to appropriate third parties at the direction of the Receiver all operating costs with respect thereto and to comply with all relevant terms of any existing Leased Data Management Equipment leases entered into by the Failed Bank, including without limitation the timely payment of all rent, taxes, fees, charges, maintenance, utilities, insurance and assessments.

  • Moving Expenses Reimbursements and procedures will be in accordance with the Department of Administrative Services, Chief Human Resource Office Policy 40.055.10, and its successors. Changes in this policy will be automatically incorporated into this contract Article.

  • First Aid Expenses We will pay expenses for first aid to others in- curred by an "insured" for "bodily injury" covered under this policy. We will not pay for first aid to an "insured".

  • Fees, Costs and Expenses All fees, costs and expenses (including attorneys’ fees and expenses) incurred by any party hereto in connection with the preparation, negotiation and execution of this Agreement and the exhibits and schedules hereto and the consummation of the transactions contemplated hereby and thereby shall be the sole and exclusive responsibility of such party. In addition, the Company will pay the costs associated with any filings with, or compliance with any of the requirements of any governmental authorities.

  • Closing Costs and Prorations Taxes and assessments for the current year, if any, shall be prorated between the prior owner of the Personal Property and Buyer as of the date of closing. Seller shall pay one-half (½) of Closing Agent’s closing and escrow fees. Buyer shall pay one-half (½) of Closing Agent’s closing and escrow fees. In addition, Buyer shall pay all other closing costs, including but not limited to: (1) recording fees for the cost of recording the State Deed; (2) the cost for any title insurance purchased at Buyer’s option; (3) lender fees, if any, together with all associated recording fees, if any; and (4) any other cost, fee, or expense which may be reasonably required in order for the transaction to close.
