Qualifications of the Team. The tenderer shall provide suitable and professional expert. The expert shall fulfil the following minimum criteria in term of qualification and profile: Mandatory minimum requirements for the coordinator/Team leader: Education: • Master’s Degree in either Education, Human resource management, development studies, economics, social sciences, or any other relevant field; • 7 years’ in-depth knowledge and demonstrated experience in conducting research, organizational capacity development, human resource management, training, coaching and mentoring; studies; stakeholder mapping and profiling or any related activities especially in the employment, skilling and education sector; • Knowledge of and experience in private sector development and employment sub- sectors an added advantage; • Excellent analytical and evaluation skills; • Excellent facilitation skills; • Excellent report writing and presentation skills; • Ability for planning and establishing priorities; • Excellent interpersonal skills; • Resourcefulness, initiative, and maturity of judgment; • Excellent communication and organizational skills; • Effective problem-solver. Mandatory minimum requirements for the expert • Master’s Degree in development studies, social sciences, education, TVET programs, human resources management or any other relevant field; • 5 years’ in-depth knowledge and demonstrated experience in skills development, employment sector; • Knowledge of and experience in the private sector companies and associations is an added advantage; • Have at least 2 (two) years proven experience in stakeholder engagement and/or mapping of stakeholders; • Have experience in working in multicultural environments; • Is able to write convincingly; succinctly, attractively and inspirationally.

Qualifications of the Team. The coordinator and key experts shall have relevant qualifications and experience in conducting similar or related activities. Mandatory requirements for the coordinator: The team leader proposed shall have the following qualifications and experience Academic qualification • He/she should have a minimum bachelor’s degree in natural resources related sciences or environmental law or related courses; • He/she should have a professional training in project planning and management or Monitoring and evaluation is an added advantage. Experience • He/she should have six (6) years of experiences in consultancy work; • He/she should have ability to work within given deadlines and flexible to deal with project operational realities. Mandatory requirements for the Natural Resource expert The Natural resource expert proposed shall have the following qualifications and experience Academic qualification • He/she should have a minimum of bachelor’s degree in natural resources management, forestry, agroforestry, climate related sciences or geographical sciences. Experience • He/she should have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in environmental conservation and management; • He/she should have experience in consultancy work related to natural resources management; • They should have similar experience with working with local leaderships. Mandatory requirements for the Training Specialist The training Specialist proposed shall have the following qualifications and experience Academic qualification • He/she should have a bachelor’s degree in either Law or environmental law; Experience • He/she should have five (5) years’ experience in environmental legislation, policy reviews, environmental training or related work; • He/she should have at least two (2) years of experience in training and capacity building of rural communities.
Qualifications of the Team. Mandatory requirements for the coordinator/team leader: • The Team leader shall have a minimum of master’s degree in either Environment and natural resources, Forestry, Climate related sciences or geographical sciences; • Must have a minimum of seven years of experience in either energy or environmental conservation; • Must have demonstrated experience of understanding humanitarian context in Uganda; • Must be an effective communicator and should be willing to have regular engagements with different stakeholders over the period of the assignment. Mandatory requirements for the experts Gender specialist: • The gender specialist shall have a degree in gender studies, social sciences, business administration, development studies or related course; • Three years’ experience in stakeholder engagement at various levels, including communities and district officials with an understanding of gender mainstreaming. • Specialised training in gender mainstreaming is added advantage. Policy specialist: • The policy specialist shall have a degree in either Law, environmental law or public policy, with four years of experience in policy reviews, formulation or in development of guidelines and action/strategic plans.
