Assessment Methods. A grading system will be established by the instructor and implemented uniformly. Grades will be based on demonstrated proficiency in subject matter determined by multiple measurements for evaluation, one of which must be essay exams, skills demonstration or, where appropriate, the symbol system.
Assessment Methods. 2.1 The California Standards for the Teaching Profession, most recently adopted by the State, shall provide the basis for the evaluation of classroom teachers and shall provide the foundation for assistance provided.

As part of the evaluation process there shall be at least two (2) prearranged observations, or at the option of the evaluatee, one (1) prearranged observation and one (1) impromptu observation, or, two (2) impromptu observations of sufficient duration and quality to provide the evaluator(s) with sufficient data to make the evaluation. Assessment Methods. Assessment of student performance takes place throughout the course with regular feedback from facilitators and clinical supervisors. An examination at the end of each course helps to determine whether each student has reached a sufficient level of understanding of biological concepts and is able to apply them to clinical situations. The assessments emphasise students’ ability to use basic biology knowledge in novel clinical situations and to put basic biology information into real life situations.

Assessment Methods. Student’s knowledge is evaluated on a continual basis during tutorials, where short quizzes are given on current material. The final examination is a comprehensive evaluation composed of practical and theoretical elements. The theoretical part consists of short-answer questions.
