Quizzes. At the end of some units, a comprehensive quiz may be given to assess student knowledge. Notice will be given ahead of time and a brief review will occur before the quiz is given. Depending on the unit, a study guide may be provided. Students will occasionally be given written work to be completed in a timely manner. Late work will be graded accordingly.
Quizzes. There are six (5) quizzes. They are designed to check your understanding of the mate- rials. Each quiz consists of ten multiple choice questions. Quizzes are ‘open note’ and you are encouraged to consult the readings and/or your notes when you take them. Different students will get different questions as determined in part by a random draw from the bank of questions. The questions cover only the material we discussed in class. The lowest grade will be dropped.

Quizzes. There is one quiz for each module. Students should follow the timeline set up on page 11 of the syllabus for each learning unit. The homework will be available online starting from the first day of class and will close on the night of the posted due date (see Spring 2020 Quiz and Exam Schedule posted on Blackboard). However, the quizzes are available online only during a two-day time limit except that Chapter 2 Quiz is available for a whole week (also see Spring 2020 Quiz and Exam Schedule posted on Blackboard). Students have two attempts to each quiz and the highest score of two attempts will be recorded on Blackboard. (However, to help students familiarize the system, you are allowed to have unlimited access to the Chapter 2 Quiz during the first week of the semester.) Once students initiate the quiz, one hour will be allotted to complete that quiz. When that time has expired, quizzes will be locked. Please remember that you have only two attempts to each quiz. Because the entire course is delivered via Internet, reliable Internet access is necessary. Inaccessibility of the Internet will not be construed as an excuse for not completing quizzes. Refer to the document named Spring 2020 Quiz and Exam Schedule posted on Blackboard for the due date of each quiz. After the quiz is due, the quiz with answers will be available for the practice purpose.
Quizzes. For each skill or learning outcome, 1 question is proposed. Each question refers to a unit. Each competence is identified in the repository. Conditions to complete the quizzes: • The questions are asked online, in one go, in a limited time: 2 minutes per question. • At least 66% right answers per element are necessary to validate a unit.
