Rate of Pay and Allowances. 7.1 The wage rates and allowances that are paid under this agreement shall be in substitution for any wage and allowance entitlements under any otherwise relevant award.

14.2 The hourly rates of pay set out in Appendix A of the Agreement incorporate the payment of overtime and accordingly the weekly pay will be determined by multiplying the actual ordinary hours worked by the rate in Column 5 of Appendix
A. The hourly rate is based on 38 ordinary hours per week.
14.3 All time worked in excess of the ordinary hours of work as per clause 9 shall be paid at the rate of 1.55 for each hour worked in excess of 38 hours.
14.4 Employees are not permitted to work overtime without the prior approval of the employer.
Rate of Pay and Allowances. 5.1.1 Your hourly rate of pay will be the rate of pay as per your Letter of Offer which will be no less than the minimum rate of remuneration as per the Australian Pay and Classification Scale prescribed in Schedule 2.

17.7 Trainee Rates of Pay – Monday to Friday. Saturdays Trainee – Theory Component (1st year) $13.05 per hour. $19.58 per hour. Trainee – On-site Visits and Assessments (2nd year) $14.37 per hour. $21.56 per hour. Trainees are employees undertaking a formal Civil Operations Traineeship. Notwithstanding Clause 10 of this Agreement trainees will not be required to work more than 38 hours per week except by agreement.
