TRAINEE RATES OF PAY. 15.1 The Employer may engage you as a trainee under a registered training agreement. 15.2 If you undertake an approved traineeship with the Employer on either a full time or part time basis, you may be paid an Ordinary Rate of Pay in accordance with the National Training Wage Award 2000. “Ordinary Rate of Pay” where it appears in this Agreement in reference to a trainee means the applicable rate prescribed in the National Training Wage Award 2000.

TRAINEE RATES OF PAY. A trainee shall receive his/her classified rate of pay during the first eighty (80) working hours of the two hundred and forty (240) working hours training period. Thereafter, until completion of the training period he shall receive the rate of pay applicable for the classifications in which he is being trained while actually training on the job which must commence and be completed in accordance with the two hundred and forty (240) working hours time frame outlined above.
TRAINEE RATES OF PAY. 6.1 Trainees whose employment, but for the lodgement of this Agreement, would have been regulated (at least in part) by the National Training Wage Award 2000, will be paid in accordance with the applicable Australian Pay and Classification Scale as varied or replaced from time to time in accordance with the decisions of the Australian Fair Pay Commission.
TRAINEE RATES OF PAY. 13.1. Trainees will be paid a percentage of the minimum salary for an adult APS1, rounded to the nearest dollar, having regard to age, schooling completed and the predetermined average proportion of time to be spent in approved training. These percentages are set out in a table in Attachment B Schedule 3.

TRAINEE RATES OF PAY. (a) This clause sets out the basis for the voluntary employment by the company of Trainees under the Australian Traineeship System (ATS). The Australian Traineeship System comprises structured on-the-job training with the Company and off-the-job training by a training provider approved by an appropriate State Industry Training Authority. The object of this clause is to provide the form and substance of the conditions of employment, including the rate of pay, applicable to persons engaged under the Australian Traineeship System. The purpose is to enhance the skill levels and future employment prospects for young people. An objective of the Australian Traineeship System is to provide additional employment and training opportunities for young people. 5.4.1 (b)(i) A Trainee shall attend an on and off-the-job training course or program approved by the industrial parties involved and as prescribed in the relevant Training Agreement as notified to the Trainee by the appropriate State Training Authority.

TRAINEE RATES OF PAY. 7.7.1 In the event that Kmart directly engages trainees to undertake a Certificate II in Retail or a Certificate III in Retail Operations following the commencement of this Agreement, such trainees shall be paid the Level 1 rate of pay for their age under the relevant Pay Schedule of this Agreement for new team members, unless the relevant equivalent rate in the national training wage is higher, in which case the relevant national training wage rate plus 1 cent per hour shall apply for any hours for which the rate is lower. 7.7.2 Trainees are paid for any on-the-job training hours they undertake and any other hours to which the trainee would be entitled to be paid under the national training wage for the type of traineeship they are undertaking.

Thereafter until completion of the training period he shall receive the rate of pay applicable for the classifications in which he is being trained while actually training on the job which must commence and be completed in accordance with the thirty (30) day time frame outlined above.
