Recall/Bypass. A. With the approval of the District a teacher may refuse one offer of employment recall. Such refusal will not jeopardize the teacher’s right to recall to the next available position for which the teacher has rights based on licensure and seniority.

Recall/Bypass. A furloughed Flight Attendant may bypass recall if there are furloughed Flight Attendants junior to her/him, until such time as the last furloughed Flight Attendant junior to her/him has been recalled or has declined recall. In order to be eligible to bypass recall, a Flight Attendant must have on file with the Company a letter to such effect at least five (5) business days in advance of the date of any recall notice to the Flight Attendant. The letter may name specific domiciles to which the Flight Attendant wishes to bypass recall. A Flight Attendant who has bypassed recall in accordance with this Agreement will not receive a recall notice until the Company must begin a mandatory recall. It the Flight Attendant’s responsibility to notify the Company in writing prior to a recall that she/he wishes to remove the bypass letter from his/her file and be notified of the next recall.
Recall/Bypass. If the work available requires recalling an employee for less than three (3) weeks, the affected employee shall be given the option of accepting less than three (3) weeks work or taking a bypass for that particular call. In the case of an out-of-seniority recall, the Shop Xxxxxxx shall be advised. If, then, an employee is hired out of seniority, that employee shall remain employed until the specific job he was hired to do is complete or forty (40) hours of work is complete, whichever comes first. The Company shall again contact the senior employee and offer the position to him.

  • Recall from Layoff Full-time and regular part-time nurses shall be recalled in the order of seniority unless otherwise agreed between the Hospital and the local Union, subject to the following provisions, provided that a nurse recalled is qualified to perform the available work:

  • Recall Notification Notice of recall shall be sent to the bargaining unit member by certified mail. The City shall be deemed to have fulfilled its obligation by mailing the recall notice by certified mail, return receipt requested, to the last address provided by the bargaining unit member.

  • Recall to Work 5.6.2.1 An employee recalled to work overtime after leaving the company’s premises (whether notified before or after leaving the premises) will be paid for a minimum of three hours work at the appropriate rates for each time the employee is so recalled. Except in the case of unforeseen circumstances arising, the employee will not be required to work the full three hours if the job the employee was recalled to perform is completed within a shorter period.

  • Recall to Duty Where the Employer recalls an Employee to perform work the Employee will be paid for a minimum for 3 hours work in accordance with the overtime provisions in clause 166 (Overtime) of this Appendix. If work continues for more than the initial 3 hours, the Employee will be paid for the actual time worked in accordance with the overtime provisions in clause 166 (Overtime) of this Appendix. If an Employee is recalled to duty within 3 hours of ceasing a previous work period, the total work period prior to re‑commencement of the work on the recall will be included in calculating the hours of duty for the day, and will also be included for the purposes of calculating a 16 hour work period.

  • Call Back Where employees are called back to work after having completed a regular shift, and prior to the commencement of their next regular shift, they shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours of work or four (4) hours pay at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) their regular hourly earnings. Superior provisions shall remain.

  • Subprocessing 1. The data importer shall not subcontract any of its processing operations performed on behalf of the data exporter under the Clauses without the prior written consent of the data exporter. Where the data importer subcontracts its obligations under the Clauses, with the consent of the data exporter, it shall do so only by way of a written agreement with the subprocessor which imposes the same obligations on the subprocessor as are imposed on the data importer under the Clauses. Where the subprocessor fails to fulfil its data protection obligations under such written agreement the data importer shall remain fully liable to the data exporter for the performance of the subprocessor's obligations under such agreement.

  • Demotion and Layoff 10:1 In the event reduction of forces or curtailment of operation shall occur, employees shall be laid off in the reverse order of their Company seniority in the area in which they are working at the time of the reduction. The application of this Section to an employee working temporarily in an area shall apply only to the extent that it affects him/her in his/her regular area.

  • Recall Rights 12.1 The parties agree that Local boards will increase the length of time contained in their local collective agreements providing rights to recall by an additional two (2) years.

  • Recall When it is determined by the Agency to fill a vacancy or to recall employees in a classification where the layoff occurred, the following procedure shall be adhered to: The laid off employee with the most State seniority from the same, similar or related classification series for whom the position does not constitute a promotion as defined in Article 17, and who prior to his/her layoff, held a classification which carried with it the same or higher pay range as the vacancy, shall be recalled first (see Appendix I). All employees who are laid off or displaced out of their classification shall be placed on the recall list by the effective date of their layoff. An employee shall be recalled to a position provided the affected employee is qualified to perform the duties. Any employee recalled under this Article shall not serve a new probationary period, except for any employee laid off who was serving an original or promotional probationary period which shall be completed. Employees shall have recall rights for a period of twenty-four (24) months. Notification of recall shall be by certified mail to the employee’s last known address or hand delivered to the employee with proof of receipt. Employees shall maintain a current address on file with the Agency. Recall rights shall be within the Agency and within recall jurisdictions as outlined in Appendix J. If the employee fails to notify the Agency of his/her intent to report to work within seven (7) days of receipt of the notice of recall, he/she shall forfeit recall rights. Likewise, if the recalled employee does not actually return to work within thirty (30) days, recall rights shall be forfeited. Any employee accepting or declining recall to the same, similar or related classification series and the same appointment category (type) from which the employee was laid off or displaced shall be removed from the recall and reemployment list if recalled to his/her original classification and appointment category (type). Except that any employee declining recall to a different appointment category (type) than that from which he/she was laid off or displaced shall be removed from the recall list for that appointment category (type).
