Redundancy/Severance Payments. 30.2.1 Redeployment/Retraining When a position is abolished due to operational reasons, the substantive incumbent shall be subject to the City’s redeployment/ retraining provisions until their cessation of employment takes effect.

2.3.2 All payments made under this clause will be at the employee’s base weekly rate of pay.
2.3.3 The provisions of this clause will not apply and there will be no entitlement to severance pay in the event of a succession, assignment or transmission of business where an employee is offered a reasonable, alternate position by Saint-Gobain Ceramic Materials Pty Ltd, the transmittee or a related entity, which is accepted.

Redundancy/Severance Payments. Where the Company has made a definite decision that it no longer wishes the job the employee has been doing done by anyone, and that decision leads to the termination of employment of the employee, then Redundancy / Severance payments will be made in accordance with Appendix 5 of this Agreement.

(b) Provided that the severance payments shall not exceed the amount which the Employee would have earned if employment with the Employer had proceeded to the Employee’s normal retirement date.
(c) Continuity of service shall be calculated in the manner prescribed by clause 10.1.
(d) Application to the Australian Industrial Relations Commission may be made for variation of the severance pay provided for in this clause in a particular redundancy situation in the circumstances of an incapacity to pay.
Redundancy/Severance Payments. Severance Payments This clause is to be read in conjunction with current redundancy arrangements. All employees covered by this agreement will have severance payments paid to the PROTECT severance fund. Should Fringe Benefits Tax be payable on severance contributions, the parties will urgently review the application of this clause to ensure that the Company or employee/s are not disadvantaged. Contributions will be at the following rates: $59.80 per week from Date of lodgement $61.60 per week from July 1, 2008 $63.45 per week from July 1, 2009 Payments are also applicable during periods of authorised absence. If an apprentice is terminated by the company during his / her apprenticeship, the apprentice will receive the following redundancy payment: Up to one years employment, 4 weeks pay Up to two years payment, 6 weeks pay Up to three years employment, 7 weeks pay Up to four years employment, 8 weeks pay The Company need not pay redundancy pay to the apprentice where the Company has obtained agreed, alternate employment
Redundancy/Severance Payments. Casual employee’s have no entitlement to receive any redundancy or severance payments upon termination of employment from this project. Project: Xxxxx Xxxxx Paste Backfill Plant Expected project Commencement Date: 16th July 2007 Expected project Completion Date: 16th July 2008 The contents of this appendix shall apply to the Employee’s in the classifications listed below for all work performed relating to the Project between the Commencement and Completion dates inclusive. The contents of this Schedule do not apply to work performed not relating to the Project or outside the dates specified. The employee is engaged from Perth for the basis of determining their FIFO status.

Xxxxxxxxx Electric applies an enhanced scale of redundancy/severance benefits which includes the minimum terms of the Standards. 11.3 In relation to severance pay, the term "weeks" means the ordinary time weekly rate of pay for the employee concerned. It excludes: overtime penalty rates allowances bonuses and any sales incentives and any other ancillary payments of a like nature.
