RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INTERN. 3.1 The Intern agrees to participate in the workplace internship to the best of his or her abilities and as a function of the resources available. Nevertheless, none of the intern’s activities shall give rise to professional liability.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INTERN. The intern will follow all safety rules required by the internship site. The intern will keep hours required (48 hours = 1 internship credit per semester) and provide proof of hours completed. The intern will notify the employer in advance if unable to report to work. The intern will show honesty, punctuality, courtesy, respect for life and property, a cooperative attitude, proper health and grooming habits, appropriate dress, and a willingness to learn. The intern will provide the coordinating instructor with all necessary information and complete all necessary reports on time and in a professional manner. The intern will conform to the rules and regulations of the internship site and will consult with the coordinating instructor about any difficulties arising at the internship site. The intern shall not terminate his/her employment without proper notification to his/her internship coordinator and employer. The intern will submit to background checks, including driving records, as required by the internship site and which may deny employment or participation in an internship at that location. By signing this form, the intern agrees to allow the coordinating instructor and the internship site to communicate in ways that will allow for careful evaluation of the intern’s performance.

If the Internship Credential is required for employment with the DISTRICT, the INTERN will notify the CSULB school psychology program director regarding his/her eligibility to obtain the Internship Credential. Thereafter, it is the responsibility of the INTERN and DISTRICT to contact the CSULB Credential Office regarding obtaining the Internship Credential from CTC, the issuer of the Internship Credential.
