Rest & Lunch Breaks. 6.6.1 An employee shall be permitted an Employer paid fifteen (15) minute rest break for each half day work period. Rest breaks shall be scheduled as near as possible to the midpoint of each half day work period. An additional fifteen (15) minute rest period shall be granted for each additional two (2) hour increment that an employee is required to work beyond the employee’s normal shift.

  • Lunch Break Each Teacher shall receive each day an uninterrupted and continuous period of not less than forty (40) minutes for lunch, free from supervisory, teaching or other assigned duties (reference: Regulation 298.s. 3, Daily Sessions).

Such tea break(s) shall count as working time.
