Retiree Health Insurance Coverage. Retiree health benefit eligibility shall be fifteen (15) years in the Syracuse City School District for members hired after September 28, 2007. Members hired on or prior to September 28, 2007 shall continue to be eligible for the Retiree Health Benefit after ten (10) years in the Syracuse City School District.

Retiree Health Insurance Coverage. The Village shall provide each retiree and their eligible family members/domestic partners with health insurance including a prescription drug plan. The Village shall pay for the same plan (i.e. single, two-person or family) as the retiree had as of his/her date of retirement. However, if during retirement, the retiree no longer qualifies for that plan (i.e. single, two-person or family), the Village shall no longer be responsible for the premium related to such a plan (e.g. Retiree qualified for a family plan as of his/her date of retirement. In the event that at some point in retirement he/she no longer qualifies for a family plan, the Village would no longer be obligated to pay for a family plan for that retiree anytime thereafter).
Retiree Health Insurance Coverage. All sworn officers retiring after twenty (20) years of police service may elect to continue healthcare, dental and vision coverage until reaching the age of sixty-five (65). The Village shall offer retirees and their family the option to participate in any of the current plans offered by the Village to employees, subject to their contribution of premium costs, the cost of which shall not exceed the Village’s cost for coverage. The Village reserves the right to change insurance carriers or benefit levels or to self- insure as it deems appropriate, so long as the new coverage and benefits are substantially similar to those which predated this Agreement. Prior to implementing any change, the Village shall notify the Chapter at least thirty (30) days prior to any change and, if requested, schedule a meeting to discuss any changes. The Village shall comply with the Illinois Police officer's continuance privilege (215 ILCS 5/367g).
Retiree Health Insurance Coverage. Employees who retire under the conditions of regular TMRS retirement, and their participating dependents, covered on the last day of employment, shall be eligible to continue participation in the City’s group health insurance program at monthly premiums subject to periodic changes in rates as required. The total cost of such continued coverage shall be paid entirely by the retiree and/or spouse. The spouse’s rights shall continue after the employee’s death, but shall terminate upon divorce. Coverage shall remain in force for the retiree while paid until he or she becomes eligible for Medicare or reaches age 65 at which time coverage in the Public Safety Citicare Plan will cease. While the retiree remains in the City’s group health insurance program or fully insured plan offerings for Medicare eligible retirees coverage shall remain in force for the retiree’s spouse while paid until he or she becomes eligible for Medicare or reaches age 65 at which time coverage in the Public Safety Citicare Plan shall cease. Coverage shall remain in force for the retiree’s participating dependent children while paid until they become ineligible as defined in the plan at which time coverage in the Public Safety Citicare Plan shall cease. Medicare eligible retirees and Medicare eligible dependents will be eligible to participate in the City’s fully insured plan offerings for Medicare eligible retirees.

Retiree Health Insurance Coverage. The District shall contribute 50% of the premiums for individual and 35% of the premiums for dependent health insurance coverage for employees on the District’s payroll as an Aide before June 30, 2002 and who have completed fifteen or more years of service in the District.
