Right-of-Entry and Coordination. The Engineer shall notify the State and secure permission to enter private property to perform any surveying, environmental, engineering or geotechnical activities needed off State right-of-way. In pursuance of the State’s policy with the general public, the Engineer shall not commit acts which would result in damages to private property, and the Engineer shall make every effort to comply with the wishes and address the concerns of affected private property owners. The Engineer shall contact each property owner prior to any entry onto the owner’s property, and shall request concurrence from the State prior to each entry. The Engineer shall notify the State and coordinate with adjacent engineers on all controls at project interfaces.
