Right to Grieve Discipline. (a) Employees have the right to grieve disciplinary action that includes: written censures, letters of reprimand, suspension and adverse reports or employee appraisals. An employee shall be given a copy of any such document placed on the employee's file which might be the basis of disciplinary action. Should an employee dispute any such entry in their file, they shall be entitled to recourse through the grievance procedure and the eventual resolution thereof shall become part of their personnel record.
Right to Grieve Discipline. Any discipline imposed on an employee may be grieved through Article 18. Any employee found to be unjustly suspended, demoted, or discharged shall be reinstated with full restoration of all rights and conditions of employment and may be awarded compensation for any and all lost time.
Right to Grieve Discipline. All employee dismissals, suspensions and discipline may be grieved in accordance with the grievance procedures outlined in Article 20 of this Collective Agreement.
Right to Grieve Discipline. Any discipline imposed on a non-probationary employee may be grieved through the provisions of Article 19. If an arbitrator determines that an employee has been issued discipline that does not comply with the just cause or other provisions of this Article, the arbitrator will have the authority to fashion an appropriate remedy that may include reinstatement with full restoration of rights and conditions of employment, compensation for lost wages or other benefits, or a reduction of the level of discipline issued.
