Employee Appraisals. Performance appraisals for each employee shall be submitted at least once each year using either a standard University evaluation form or one that is an approved substitute for that standard form. Employees shall be evaluated by their appropriate administrator/supervisor. Employees shall be given a minimum of three (3) workdays notice prior to the evaluation meeting. If a performance review meeting becomes disciplinary in nature in the employee's judgment, the employee shall have the right to adjourn the meeting and reschedule it with a union xxxxxxx present. At the time of such appraisal, the employee's specific job description, job duties, appraisal standards, and performance shall be reviewed by both the employee and the supervisor to discuss patterns of performance for the past year and expectations for the upcoming year. Each employee has the right to add written comments regarding the performance appraisal on the performance appraisal form, at the time of any review, and subsequently if any changes are made. The employee's signature on the performance appraisal form signifies that the performance appraisal has been reviewed with the employee, but does not signify that the employee agrees with the appraisal. Each employee shall have the right to see any changes, deletions, or additions to the performance appraisal made by the immediate supervisor, a higher supervisor, department head, or administrator. Such changes shall be discussed with the employee. The employee shall be provided with copies of the completed performance appraisal.
Employee Appraisals. Where an appraisal of an employee's performance is carried out, the employee concerned shall be given the opportunity to read and review the appraisal. The form shall provide for the employee's signature in at least two (2) places, one indicating that the employee has read and accepts the appraisal and the other indicating that the employee disagrees with the appraisal. The employee shall have the right to respond in writing to any specific point. This response shall become a part of the appraisal. The employee shall receive a copy of the appraisal. Employee appraisals shall not be used to establish or further discipline nor shall they be admissible in an arbitration for that purpose.

Employee Appraisals. 22.01 Upon the written request of an employee, the Employer shall furnish the employee with a copy of his/her regular written performance evaluation.
22.02 An employee shall have the right to see his/her personal file when a manager is available to provide access.
Employee Appraisals. Section 1. Written Performance Appraisals Applicable employees will receive an annual performance appraisal completed by their immediate supervisor who is outside the bargaining unit and has firsthand knowledge of the employee’s performance. The evaluation shall be fair and accurate, and as objective as possible. The evaluation shall be limited to factors relating to the employee's work performance and for which they are accountable. Employees’ signatures on the appraisals indicate the employee has received and reviewed the appraisal. Such signatures shall not constitute agreement with the content of the appraisal. The appraisal shall be discussed with the employee, and the employee shall be given a copy of the appraisal. The employee may submit a written rebuttal to an appraisal if the employee disagrees totally, or in part, with the appraisal. The employee’s rebuttal shall be considered part of the evaluation process with a copy attached to the original evaluation and placed in the employee’s personnel record. A less than overall satisfactory performance appraisal may be appealed through the grievance procedure as outlined in this Labor Contract.
Employee Appraisals. Employee appraisals are not disciplinary and Employees shall receive at least one (1) appraisal each year for the purpose of providing feedback and guidance. Employee appraisals shall not be used to adversely affect an Employee, and where appraisals are disputed, the Employee shall have the right to submit a rebuttal to be attached to the appraisal on file.
Employee Appraisals. The Employer will supply the Union with copies of the rules and procedures of the current Employee Appraisal System, including any information, instructions or guidance provided to Managers.
Employee Appraisals. 10.1 The Employer may conduct formal appraisals of a Regular Employee’s performance. The procedures for such appraisal shall be worked out in consultation with the Employee and the Union.
10.2 The Employer shall conduct formal appraisals of every Temporary Employee upon the completion of their appointment. The appraisal should follow closely the criteria for formal appraisal for Regular Employees.
Employee Appraisals. An appraisal is an assessment of an employee’s work performance completed by a management representative of the Employer. All formal appraisals shall be completed on a form prescribed by the Employer. An employee shall receive a signed copy of each appraisal completed. The employee is required to acknowledge receipt of the appraisal by signing and dating the original. An employee who refuses to acknowledge receipt of the appraisal will be deemed to have received their copy on the date it was presented to them. Appraisal interviews shall be conducted in private.

23.03 The Employee shall have access to review a copy of each electronic appraisal completed and upon request shall receive a hard copy of the appraisal.
23.04 The Employee is required to acknowledge receipt by electronically acknowledging the performance appraisal.
23.05 An Employee who refuses to acknowledge receipt of the appraisal will be deemed to have received their copy on the date it was presented to them.
23.06 Appraisal interviews shall be conducted in private.
