Right to Membership. Transition Projects agrees not to interfere with the rights of employees covered by this agreement to become members of the Union, and there shall be no discrimination, interference, restraint, or coercion by the Employer or any Employer representative against any employee because of Union membership or because of any employee activity in an official capacity on behalf of the Union. This is in accordance with federal law via the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA).

Right to Membership. Employees, as defined in Article I, have the right to form or join the Association and to participate in professional negotiations with the Board, or its designee, through representatives of their own choosing. Neither the Board nor the Administration will discriminate against bargaining unit members for participation in lawful Association activities. Employees also have the right to refrain from joining said organizations.
Right to Membership. The Association agrees that it shall admit all teachers to its membership without discrimination by reason of race, religion, color, national origin, sex, marital status, age, height, weight, other protected characteristic, membership or participation in the lawful activities of the Association, or handicap unrelated to the individual's ability to perform the duties of the position.

Right to Membership. After a person has met the membership eligibility requirements, they shall be offered membership only if unanimously approved by a vote of the Board of Directors. If an employee completes the probationary period but is not approved as a Member, the employee can remain employed with the Company without being a Member, at the discretion of the Board of Directors.

  • Right to Opt Out If you do not wish to agree to arbitrate all Disputes in accordance with the terms and conditions of this section, you must advise us in writing at the following address by either hand delivery or a letter postmarked within thirty (30) days following the date you enter into this Agreement. You may opt-out without affecting your application or cardholder status.
