Training and Safety. The Employer will provide adequate training to all three classifications so as to assure a thorough knowledge of job duties, safety procedures, and regulations. There will be a Coast Mountain Bus Company Ltd. Safety Rules and Regulations Manual Trolley Overhead employees. This manual will be kept current based on reviews of the B.C.H.P.A. electrical safety manual and the Employer experience with the Trolley Overhead maintenance functions.
Training and Safety. Provider certifies that it and its employees have the background, training, and experience and necessary licenses to properly and professionally perform the services being delivered under this Agreement. Provider acknowledges that Texas State, in entering into this Agreement, reasonably expects Provider to be aware of all applicable safety standards and necessary safety procedures and practices to be able to perform the services to be delivered under this Agreement without injury to TSUS, Texas State, and their respective regents, employees, Participants, and any third parties.

Training and Safety. 7.01.01. Safety training shall be required by all Support Techs prior to doing any lighting maintenance work covered under their classification and on an annual, renewable basis. Current employees will be given up to 90 days for their initial training. Continuing education shall be required by all employees under this collective bargaining agreement, which shall include CPR and first aid, plus eight hours of safety training per year. To fund the continuing education requirements, all employers agree to pay $.05 per hour to the NECA-IBEW Electrical Training Trust for all hours worked under this agreement. Lighting Techs shall receive 8 hours of training post hiring and preferably pre-job.
Training and Safety. Contractor shall maintain an employee training program to ensure maximum efficiency of performance of the Services and to ensure the safety of all persons on the Property.
Training and Safety. The USER must be trained by qualified staff before being allowed to use any of the instruments. The USER must acquire and demonstrate knowledge of the laboratory safety procedures and must be familiar with RGE safe operating procedures for electron microscopes and XRD. Furthermore, the USER must be familiar with the safety procedures for each particular instrument that the USER intends to use. The USER must understand the safety procedures followed by University and should notify campus police at x2600 in case of emergency. An untrained USER may only be present in the FACILITY for observation purposes and may not, in any circumstance, operate the instruments. In any situation that a USER feels uncertain about the safe and appropriate operation of an instrument, the USER shall consult a staff member prior to operating the instrument. The USER is not allowed to install or modify any software installed on the instrument computers. Failure to follow appropriate procedures and instructions may result in termination of USER privileges. The USER shall reimburse the FACILITY for any and all damages caused to the FACILITY or associated instruments. USER will be responsible for its personal protective equipment.
Training and Safety. Training For the safety of the Program and your staff, all employees handling Program Products must receive training in product identification, acceptance, handling, packaging, inspection and emergency response procedures before collecting Program Products or engaging in any PaintCare Program activities. Training ensures that employees conduct Program Products collection activities in a safe manner that protects workers and the environment. Program Products collection activities need to follow general safety practices including proper lifting techniques. Ensure Drop-Off Site employees are equipped for and understand hazards associated with Program Products. Maintain training plans and records for each employee. A form for recording staff training is included in Appendix C. Safety Store personal protective equipment (PPE) and spill response equipment in an accessible location adjacent to the Collection Bins. Ensure that the materials are protected from the weather. The Drop-Off Site needs to be equipped with appropriate emergency response equipment including a fire extinguisher, spill kit and PPE. Monthly inspections of equipment are recommended. Ensure emergency procedures and emergency contact numbers including police, fire department and emergency services are posted by phone near the Drop-Off Site area. If applicable, develop and maintain emergency action plan as required by OSHA. If required by federal, state or local law, familiarize police, fire departments and emergency response teams with the layout of your facility, properties of Program Product handled at your facility and evacuation routes. For your convenience, a form for recording emergency contacts is included in Appendix D.
Training and Safety. All Fire Department activities and operations shall be in compliance with OSHA and WISHA safety rules and regulations and any other applicable law as mandated by the Federal Aviation Authority. The Employer shall, if possible, provide relief at any major alarm or emergency and at any alarm or emergency which because of extreme weather conditions dictates such relief. The Employer shall provide and require a minimum of advanced first aid training and certification for Employees covered by this Agreement. All other training shall utilize available and applicable Federal and State materials including but not limited to those provided by Washington State Fire Service Training, Federal Aviation Administration and International Fire Service Training Association. If an Employee is directed or required by Employer to attend classes, training, etc., outside of scheduled working hours, Employer shall pay all direct expenses upon submittal of receipts/invoices. An Employee desiring to attend classes or training not required by Employer may submit an application for reimbursement prior to registration to his/her Fire Battalion Chief. Approval or disapproval will be made based on the value of such class or training to the goals of the department. Reimbursement for tuition, registration and books only will be made upon presentation of receipts for applicable fees and grade notices or documentation substantiating completion and/or a passing grade. Books purchased by the Employer become the property of the Airport. Employee may be required to present the course content to the other Employees.
Training and Safety. Contractor shall develop, implement and maintain a formal training and retraining program for all supervisory staff and drivers engaged in the provision of Citi-Lift service. Such training shall meet or exceed to training provided to Pueblo Transit employees. The driver training program must include a minimum eighty (80) hour course for new employees with no prior commercial driving experience, consisting of a combination of classroom instruction, behind-the-wheel training under the auspices of a qualified instructor, and in-service training. The program must also address formal retraining measures, including criteria for determining the success of retraining efforts. New employees with prior commercial driving experience may receive fewer hours of training, and Contractor shall use its discretion in assessing the training needs of such employees on a case-by-case basis. Passenger Assistance Training (PAT) or Passenger Service and Safety Certification (PASS) must be provided to all drivers by a certified PAT or PASS trainer as part of the 80 hours curriculum. This training must focus on preferred techniques to be used when transporting passengers with disabilities, including non-ambulatory passengers. Contractor’s training program shall further include at least four (4) hours of sensitivity training which are required by 49 CFR Part 37 of USDOT regulations. The sensitivity training must emphasize treating persons with disabilities with courtesy and respect and the types of disabilities drivers may encounter. The training program shall include a safety component, through which Citi-Lift passengers, Contractor and Pueblo Transit may be assured that the service provided at all times remains as safe as possible. The safety component shall include, but not necessarily be limited to: Regularly scheduled employee safety meetings; participation in National Driver Safety Council programs; information and incentives to encourage safe operating practices; and participation in risk management activities recommended by Contractor’s insurance provider. Contractor shall submit written documentation of its training program and annual training schedule to Pueblo Transit at least five (5) days prior to the initiation of service delivery. Training and Safety. Contractor shall provide and conduct a planned classroom and “hands on” training program for all their personnel to ensure the required certification levels of its employees, staff and agents and to ensure proper operation and maintenance of the Treatment Facilities, and to ensure that the local pretreatment program is run in a safe and efficient manner. Contractor shall develop and practice a workplace safety and health program in accordance with the CAL-OSHA requirements. Contractor shall administer all safety programs, inspections, training and preventive maintenance in compliance with all CAL/OSHA and City’s safety manual procedures. Contractor shall be required to comply with California Code of Regulations Title 8, Section 3203, and with all applicable CAL/OSHA requirements including Article 108 of Title 8.
