Prevention of accidents. The master of an oil vessel shall take all due precautions for the prevention of accidents by fire in the discharge of inflammable liquids, and shall himself remain, or cause a responsible officer of the vessel to remain, on board the vessel, together with a sufficient crew, during the whole time of discharge, or while any inflammable liquid remains on board.
Prevention of accidents. If the engine compartment of a vehicle is located to the rear of the driver's compartment, it shall not be possible to start the engine from the driver's position when the main engine access panel located in the rear face of the vehicle is open and which provide direct access to parts that represent a hazard when the engine is running (e.g. pulley of belt drives).
Prevention of accidents. (a) The safety rules of the state having jurisdiction shall be observed by the parties hereto. It is recognized that the Employer has the exclusive responsibility for providing a safe and healthful workplace.
(b) Company shall make reasonable provisions for the safety of employees in the performance of their work. Company and Union shall cooperate in promoting the realization of the responsibility of the individual employee and supervisor with regard to the prevention of accidents. Prevention of accidents a. District shall make reasonable provisions for the safety of employees in the performance of their work. It shall provide each new employee with a safety indoctrination during the first five (5) days of employment, which shall include giving such employee a copy of the Accident Prevention Rules.
b. District and Union shall cooperate in promoting the realization of the responsibility of the individual employee and supervisor with regard to the prevention of accidents. The safety rules of the state having jurisdiction shall be observed by the parties hereto. It is recognized that the employer has the exclusive responsibility for providing a safe and healthful workplace and it is the responsibility of all employees to comply with all safety rules and regulations promulgated for maintaining a safe and healthful workplace.
Prevention of accidents. You must:
(a) exercise reasonable care to ensure that only competent employees are employed and take reasonable measures to maintain all premises, fittings and plant in safe and sound condition;
(b) take all reasonable precautions to:
(i) prevent Personal Injury and Property Damage;
(ii) prevent the manufacture, sale or supply of defective Products; and
(iii) comply and ensure that You, Your employees, servants and agents comply with all statutory obligations, by laws or regulations imposed by any public authority for the safety of persons or property; and
(c) take reasonable action to trace, recall or modify any of Your Products containing any defect or deficiency of which You have knowledge or have reason to suspect any defect or deficiency.
Prevention of accidents. 1. The CITY desires to maintain a safe place of employment and to that end the CITY shall make all reasonable provisions for the safety of employees in the performance of their work. It is recognized, pursuant to the provisions of SB 198, that the employer and employee jointly share responsibility for providing and insuring a safe and healthful workplace.
2. The CITY and the UNION shall cooperate in promoting the realization of the responsibility of the individual employee and Supervisor with regard to the prevention of accidents, and to that end both parties agree to comply with all State and Federal Health and Safety Laws, rules and resolutions.
3. In the event any applicable State or Federal Health or Safety rules are revised or adopted that conflict with current rules, such rule shall be revised.
4. In addition to the foregoing, CITY shall inform UNION of such new rule or revision for the parties to meet on a mutually agreed date to discuss the effects.
Prevention of accidents. 17.01 For safety reasons, English must be understood and spoken at all times on the job.
17.02 First Aid Kits, flood lights and flares shall be necessary equipment on trucks and each driver will bear the responsibility of ensuring that such equipment is on the truck and in good condition.
17.03 Gas detection equipment, manhole ventilators and approved heaters shall be made available when and where deemed necessary by legislation.
17.04 The Corporation shall observe all reasonable precautions and provide all safety services or appliances that may be reasonably required for the safety protection of workmen. Employees shall cooperate with the Corporation in the prevention of accidents and will, from time to time, as occasion requires, make such representations to the Corporation as to the prevention of accidents as may be considered necessary. Adequate time shall be allowed each month for the practice of safety training, also discussion on safety methods and any unsafe conditions that may arise. The time and duration of each practice shall be arranged by the Division Manager so as to fit in with the work progress.

26.4 Un employé absent du travail en raison d'un accident de travail continuera de recevoir son salaire régulier de base pour la durée de son absence, ou, au plus tard, jusqu'aux cent dix-neuvième (119e) jour d'absence. L'Université reçoit directement, durant cette période, les sommes payables par la CSPAAT. Si l'absence devait se prolonger au-delà du 119e jour, l'employé recevra dès lors les prestations directement de la CSPAAT.

26.2 The University, the Bargaining Unit and employees cooperate in maintaining the best possible occupational health and safety conditions in an effort to prevent occupational illnesses and workplace accidents, in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997 (WSIB).

Prevention of accidents. 15.01 Subject to Human Rights legislations, for safety reasons, employees must be able to read, write and understand English at all times on the job.
