Aid Attendants a) Designated First Aid Attendants shall receive their job rate of pay plus the Ticket Premium rate. All other employees holding valid First Aid Tickets shall receive a premium of five cents (5¢) per hour over and above their job rate. There shall be no stacking or pyramiding of premiums.
Aid Attendants. Teachers who possess Industrial First Aid Certificates may request in writing to the superintendent of schools to be designated as first aid attendants in schools where W.C.B. requires such coverage. The work responsibilities shall be determined by W.C.B. regulations and otherwise as determined by the Board and the CTA. The rate of pay for K – 12 teachers shall be $100 per month of service. The rate of pay for Adult Education teachers shall be one dollar ($1.00) per hour of service.
Aid Attendants. Where an employee is required by the College to assume responsibility as a first aid attendant and in so doing requires a current appropriate level Industrial First Aid Certificate, the College shall grant leave of absence with pay for the purpose of attending the necessary courses, both initial training and required upgrading. Aid Attendants. The premium for designated Xxxxx 0 Xxxxxxxxxx xxxxx xx seventy-five cents (75¢) per hour which will be attached to their hourly rate of pay. For those who have Level 2 Intermediate First Aid and are not designated, the premium shall be twenty-five cents (25¢) per hour which will be attached to their hourly rate of pay. In cases where no internal applicant has filled a vacant position, the City may require a new employee to train as a Level 2 First Aid Attendant. Such training shall not be required of internal applicants should such a position become vacant, in cases of redundancy or job rearrangement due to layoff and recall. Employees now holding Designated First Aid positions with a valid Industrial First Aid Ticket, regardless of the level of the "Ticket", shall be paid seventy-five cents (75¢) per hour which will be attached to their hourly rate of pay until their ticket expires. Aid Attendants. (a) The Company shall designate First Aid Attendants, holding a current Industrial First Aid Certificate, in accordance with the Industrial Health and Safety Regulations of the Workers' Compensation Board of B.C. Where possible, First Aid Attendants shall be members of the bargaining unit.
Aid Attendants. Designated first aid attendants shall receive a premium of $1.00 per hour. The Company agrees to pay for time off for designated first aid attendants to renew their first aid ticket. An employee who fails the course will not be paid for time off to take the course again.
Aid Attendants. Employees working as designated occupational first aid attendants (OFAA) and possessing the necessary Company certification (Level III) will receive a premium of one dollar ($1.00) per hour in addition to their regular rate of pay for each hour worked. Employees who hold a current Level III OFAA certification as of ratification will be eligible to attend one (1) week recertification course, to maintain their qualifications. New training postings for OFAA will be allowed to take the two (2) week Level III Industrial First Aid course. It is recognized that as per Worksafe BC-OHS Regulation, the Vancouver Brewery is assessed as requiring a maximum of Level II First Aid. However, Level III First Aid training is the current Company standard in our brewery. The Company may opt to adhere to a Level II First Aid requirement in the future. Should this occur, the Company will review the changes and impacts of this with the plant committee in advance. The following will clarify the guidelines that Molson Canada 2005, Vancouver Brewery, will administer when sponsoring employees for Occupational First Aid Attendant (OFAA) training: • When the Company posts for OFAA Training, the vacancy will be filled in accordance with the posting procedure as outlined in the collective agreement • Molson will pay an employee their regular rate of pay for the duration of the training course i.e. Two weeks for initial training & one week for re-certification • Molson will pay an employee their regular rate of pay for the day the employee must attend their OFAA Qualification Examination • Molson will pay for the completion of the required OFAA Medical Certificate of Fitness. Molson agrees to prepay tuition costs for an employee who is attending a Molson sponsored OFAA III course. If the employee is not successful in passing the course and does not wish to continue pursuit of their WORKSAFE BC certification, the employee will reimburse the company for the tuition costs in a reasonable time frameIn the event an employee is not successful in passing their initial OFAA Qualification Exam, Molson will provide the employee with a second opportunity to take the Qualification Exam • For the second attempt to pass the final OFAA Qualification Exam, Molson will also pay the employee their regular wages for that day as well as the Exam fee • If the employee is not successful in passing the Level III OFAA Qualification Exam after their second attempt, Molson will no longer sponsor the OFAA train...
