School Responsibility. ♦ We will regularly communicate academic progress and expectations to students and parents via email, phone, Class Dojo or Google Classroom. ♦ We will provide supplemental materials and tutorials which will assist students in meeting the Georgia Standards of Excellence. ♦ We will utilize both adult and peer tutoring strategies during regular classroom sessions as we work together in small groups for remediation purposes as needed. ♦ We will assign meaningful and appropriate classroom assignments and homework to enrich student knowledge and understanding in all core content areas. ♦ We will provide parents with frequent reports on their child’s progress. Specifically, the school will provide a progress report at 4 ½ weeks and every nine weeks. These reports will be sent to parents in the Wednesday Courier and can be accessed thru parent portal. ♦ We will be available for consultations with parents during planning periods, after school, and during Parent-Teacher Conferences in which this compact will be discussed as it relates to the individual student’s achievement. ♦ I will log-in to Parent Portal in Infinite Campus at least once per week to monitor my child’s attendance, assignments, and grades to ensure progress and expectations are being met. I will also communicate with my child’s teachers regularly via email, phone, Class Dojo or Google Classroom.

School Responsibility. The School shall be responsible for damage or injury caused by the School’s officers and employees in the course of their employment to the extent that the School’s liability for such damage or injury has been determined by a court or otherwise agreed to by the School, and provided that funds are appropriated, allotted or otherwise properly made available for that purpose. This provision, in itself, shall not constitute or be interpreted to be any type of indemnification, defense, or hold harmless obligation of the School. The School’s obligations hereunder shall survive the expiration or earlier termination of this Agreement.

If a learner fails to start the provision, the School/Organisation will incur an administration fee of £100 for each learner that didn’t start. The Academy agrees to make available to the applicant classroom space, all diving equipment and supplies (other than personal diving equipment required to be furnished by the student as outlined in the Academy’s catalog), diving station space, diving manual, diver’s log, handouts, recompression chamber, and instruction in the course outline in the program designated for the period indicated. The Academy agrees to award the appropriate certification and to provide assistance in locating employment as outlined in the Academy’s catalog after the student meets all requirements for the course completion. The Academy reserves the right to schedule subjects within the curriculum in the order deemed necessary and, if necessary, to change or revise class starting dates. Reasonable and appropriate substitutions in curriculum may be made by the Academy as deemed necessary. STUDENT PLACEMENT – Students are assisted with placement and furnished names and addresses of employment possibilities. Inquiries made to the School from potential employers will be posted on the web board. The Academy will assist the student with employment to the best of its ability, but cannot guarantee employment.
