School Sponsored Trips. Teachers who accompany their students on school-sponsored trips shall do so at no loss of pay, and such trips shall not necessitate the use of personal or sick leave days. Other teachers assigned to the same building may chaperone these trips under the same conditions with the approval of the principal. Teachers assigned to other buildings must use personal leave or leave without pay in accordance with established Board policy on leaves.

School Sponsored Trips. A. All school sponsored trips must be cleared through the office and conform to the Activities Handbook. Students on school-sponsored trips must ride in district provided transportation to all extra-curricular events designated by the school unless other circumstances have been worked out with the building principal.
School Sponsored Trips. Mileage will be paid for employee’s use of private automobile for school-sponsored trips approved by the Superintendent of Schools for the duration of this contract at the Federal rate established by the I.R.S.

Academic Information Changing of Schedule Students will have the first day of the fall semester to submit a schedule change form unless approved by the building principal.. To change for the spring semester all signed schedule request forms must be turned in before release for Christmas Break. Students who desire to change their schedule should follow these steps:  Get a schedule request form from the Counselor’s office. Have it signed by the student and parent, and turned in before the deadline.  If the counselor approves the change, a new schedule will be presented to the student from the counselor’s office.

  • Orientation Program The Company will allow a designated representative of the Local or Bargaining Unit up to one (1) hour per calendar month for the purpose of conducting the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union New Members’ Orientation Program. Such meetings will be conducted during the probationary period of employees, and will be held on Company premises. Employees participating in Orientation Program meetings during their normally scheduled working hours will not suffer loss of pay at their regular rate. Orientation Program meetings will be scheduled by Management and a Management representative may attend as an observer.
