Section 10.9.2. 12 Employees on layoff status shall file their addresses in writing with the personnel office of the 13 District and shall thereafter promptly advise the District in writing of any change of address.
Section 10.9.2. 41 The employee with the earliest district seniority date within the same position title at a department 42 or building shall have preferential rights regarding who is laid off. 43
Section 10.9.2. 29 Any permanent position filled by a substitute employee for more than thirty (30) consecutive 30 workdays, shall be posted and filled as a temporary position with benefits to protect the return 31 provisions of the employee on leave. The posting shall indicate the length of the temporary 32 position.
Section 10.9.2. 28 Leave replacement (substitute) positions which involve a Board approved leave of absence of 29 six (6) weeks or more will be filled by the most senior (qualified) employee within the specific 30 job classification. In such cases, the position of the employee who accepts the leave 31 replacement job may be filled by the District without regard to seniority or current employment
Section 10.9.2. 40 An employee on layoff status shall file his address in writing with the Human Resource 41 Department of the District and shall thereafter promptly advise the District in writing of any 42 change of address. 43
Section 10.9.2. 43 An employee shall forfeit employment rights if the employee does not respond to the offer of 44 employment within three (3) days after receiving the notice and will report for duty not more 45 than ten (10) working days after receiving notice of opening.
Section 10.9.2. 22 Time on reduction in force and time on authorized leave of absence will be counted as 23 continuous service for the purpose of retaining eligibility dates.
Section 10.9.2. 32 Employees shall forfeit the rights to reemployment upon rejection of an offer of reemployment 33 to a position equal in hours, days and classifications to the position from which they are laid 34 off.
Section 10.9.2. 25 When an employee receives a summons requiring an appearance in court, the employee shall 26 notify Food Service Management. For job related subpoena leave, the employee shall receive 27 full pay.
Section 10.9.2. 1.1. 3 Hours assigned under section 10.9.2.1, and temporary hours added to an employee’s 4 existing schedule for other reasons, shall not count towards breaks in Section 7.3.1.
