Section 4.4.1. 2 The Union shall have the right to make a fifteen (15) minute presentation to new employees at 3 the conclusion of the District orientation, provided that space is available. It is understood that 4 this presentation will be coordinated with Human Resources, and that employees participating 5 in the presentation under the Section will not be paid for that portion of their time.

Section 4.4.1. 29 Whenever any representative of the Association or any employees are mutually scheduled by 30 the parties to participate in grievance proceedings, negotiations, conferences, or meetings, they 31 shall be paid by the District their appropriate rate of pay if such meetings are scheduled during 32 their regular shifts.
