Section 9.7.3. 28 The employee will retain accrued sick leave, vested vacation rights, and seniority rights while 29 on leave of absence. However, vacation credits, sick leave, and seniority shall not accrue while 30 the employee is on leave of absence; provided, however, that if such leave is approved for 31 extended illness or injury, including industrial accident or industrial illness, seniority shall 32 accrue.
