Sick Leave Bank Membership. Unit members entitled to sick leave are members of the sick leave bank in the following circumstances unless they opt out of participation in the bank.
Sick Leave Bank Membership. 1. Any District employee may join the Sick Leave Bank by contributing one (1) day to the Sick Leave Bank.
Sick Leave Bank Membership. Purpose: The sick leave bank shall be used for the purpose of alleviating the hardship caused by absence from work necessitated by catastrophic illness, life-threatening incident, mental illness requiring hospitalization, or life threatening conditions, excluding elective surgery.
Sick Leave Bank Membership. 1. All teachers, whose position qualifies them for leave under the FMLA, are eligible to participate in the Sick Leave Bank on a voluntary basis.
Sick Leave Bank Membership. At the time of hire, employees may make a one-time, irrevocable decision to participate or not participate in the Sick Leave Bank. Membership in the Bank will become effective after completion of the probationary period. Employees who choose to join the Bank must contribute one half-day (1/2) of their earned sick leave to the Bank at the beginning of each school year. Employees who do not contribute to the Sick Leave Bank will not be able to access the Bank. Earned sick leave donated to the Bank is not retrievable.
Sick Leave Bank Membership. Certified employees who donate one (1) day of accumulated sick leave to the Sick Leave Bank shall be members of the Bank and eligible for its services. In the event the Sick Leave Council assesses additional days to keep the Bank solvent, a member must donate the required additional day to continue his/her membership in the Bank.
Sick Leave Bank Membership. All certified staff members under contract are eligible to participate in the Bank. Membership will be on a voluntary basis. Certified staff members who wish to be a member of the Bank must contribute one sick leave day per year to the bank in order to be eligible for membership.
