If the employee is unable to attend work because of sickness or injury he/she must notify the Company and his/her agency/Client as soon as reasonably possible and in any event within one hour of his/her start time on the first day of absence: and • complete and return to the Company a self-certification form in respect of the first seven days (including weekends) of any sickness absence; and • provide the Company with a medical certificate from his/her General Practitioner or other registered medical practitioner for periods of sickness absence in excess of seven days (including weekends) or more and with medical certificates for each subsequent week of sickness absence.

The amount of the Executive’s sick pay shall be the amount of his Base Salary less any other sickness or invalidity benefits from any national or local government department or Employer plan whether or not claimed.

SICKNESS ABSENCE AND SICK PAY. 16.1 If the Employee is absent from work because of sickness or injury he/she will be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay, provided the Employee meets the qualifying conditions and has complied with the School’s notification and certification requirements under its Sickness Absence Policy and Procedure as amended from time to time.   • Sick Pay 23.1 When a seafarer is landed at any port because of sickness or injury, a pro rata payment of their basic wages plus guaranteed or, in the case of officers, fixed overtime, shall continue until they have been repatriated at the Company’s expense as specified in Article 20.

  • Vacation and Fringe Benefits During the Employment Period, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation and fringe benefits at a level that is commensurate with the paid vacation and fringe benefits available to the Executive immediately prior to the Effective Date, or, if more favorable to the Executive, at the level made available from time to time to the Executive or other similarly situated officers at any time thereafter.

  • Vacations; Leave The Employee shall be entitled to annual paid vacation in accordance with the policies established by the Board of Directors for executive employees and to voluntary leave of absence, with or without pay, from time to time at such times and upon such conditions as the Board of Directors may determine in its discretion.

  • Sickness In the event that an employee requires hospitalization or is seriously ill during his/her annual vacation period, the employee shall, upon request and upon presentation of a physician's statement, apply the period of illness or hospitalization to sick leave rather than vacation, provided the sick bank is not used. The employee must inform the College of the claim within one (1) week of returning to work.

  • Customary Fringe Benefits Executive will be eligible for all customary and usual fringe benefits generally available to executives of Company subject to the terms and conditions of Company’s benefit plan documents. Company reserves the right to change or eliminate the fringe benefits on a prospective basis, at any time, effective upon notice to Executive.

  • Vacation; Leave A part-time employee shall earn vacation leave credits for each month in which the employee receives pay for at least twice the number of hours in the employee’s normal workweek, at the rate for years of service established in clause 34.02 of this Agreement, prorated and calculated as follows:
